Credits to Dawnstar. [Lilac] (#51049) for helping me think of this I know that I've had this problem recently, and I'm like 100% positive other people had too. Basically, I was harassed, threatened, and called slurs. And while I did report it (Of course!) It took a day before it was even claimed, leaving me feeling really unsafe. This user was also reported by a few people who chose to defend me, but I didn't feel like the situation had been dealt with. (Though it has since I originally posted this, so don't worry!) So my idea is this: There should be certain words in the modbox that would trigger Mods to come look at them. The words would be stuff like: "Kill" "Threaten" "Harassment" Etc. Janxxy (#61852) suggested that there be a subgroup in the Modbox where you'd report these types of things, so that smaller issues like minor ToS breaking and stuff don't get pushed back. Gnarlandis (#66351) suggested that, rather than have to report a whole thread, you should be able to report a single post. "I'm not sure if someone said this already, but mods should also add derogative slurs to the list, such as homophobic slurs/racist slurs/ableist slurs. I know that Lioden strives for a safe community where everyone, regardless of identity, is equal, and I believe that adding oppressive/discriminative slurs to the blacklist would help. :D" - Halt (#79087) EDIT; Thank you everyone for the 200 supports! I can't believe how fast the supports added up! |

@Silverfish Oof, sorry you had to read all of it, there's some rough parts. Thank you for your support tho! @Black_rhinoceros Tbh there's not a real reason to read all the pages, I have no problem answering the same questions, since I know how lazy people are (I am lazy) 0 players like this post! There is one concern that I have about this idea ( if this has already been addressed I apologize ). When it comes to implementing this feature I can already see a lot of people abusing it. For example, someone who may have a lesser complaint could just list/work in the trigger words so a Mod will look at faster. Not trying to put the suggestion down because I do think it would be good to have, however it does seem to have a few loopholes. 0 players like this post! Like? Hmm, that's an issue I hadn't thought about before. I would suggest that there be some kind of rule against that, but that could require the Admins reworking the ToS which would be a hassle 0 players like this post! Like? |

There doesn't have to be a rule against it specifically. Like your idea, we could just incorporate those offensive words into the Trigger Words section of the Modbox along with "harrassment," "kill," etc. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@π Evagoblin π (#3204) Hmm, that is a possibility, however I don't think it would stop people from doing it. I thought that perhaps the feature could display the sentence in which the trigger word/s are used, but then again players would probably just write some random sentence/s with the word/s in their report to get around it. 0 players like this post! @Virgo I guess we'd just have to put faith in the lioden community to not do that, plus it seems counter intuitive since the mod who sees it will: A= be pissed and B= might leave it for another mod and it'll get pushed down the list. @Halt Yes, but I was answering you! 0 players like this post! Well, I guess we just would not be able to censor derogative slurs, then. xD 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think it's just in general. Like, if you have a bug or something simple for the modbox, you could write like "It kills me how threatening this is" at the end so it shows up as a trigger word in the modbox 0 players like this post! Like? |
