ShadowPack Camp & Territory Welcome! A new pack of wolves has recently decided to put down roots in new territory. They are known as ShadowPack, a pack with a dark, blood stained reputation and one feared by all who have come to know them. They fear no enemy and will take down whatever threatens their way of life. Though they are fearsome enemies and kinda scary neighbours, they are not entirely without honour. They value loyalty above all else, even strength. You could think of them as the 'Slytherin' of wolf packs. Cunning, bold and traditional. Rogue wolves are welcome to join and will have a testing period in which they are supervised closely by a pack member (with another watching in secret). Wolves from rival packs are rarely accepted without very good reason. They haven't gotten this strong by throwing caution to the wind. However there are some exceptions if undeniable loyalty is proved. Rogue/Loner Sign Ups are no longer being accepted. Must be already accepted in the pack or packborn History About 6 months ago ShadowPack was split in two in order to extend their reach. Half of the pack led by a young she-wolf named Meruem, travelled over a moon away to settle down in a great forest that neighboured two other packs (Duskfall and Sunrise). They invited rogues and loners they met along the way to join the pack and are now thriving in their new home as well as growing steadily in power. Their ultimate goal? Take over the woodland, plains and mountain that the other packs currently occupy. This objective may take a while and the journey will be fraught with many plots and dangers but that is what is so ultimately exciting! Will you be a part of the domination that is to come if everything goes to plan? Join up if thats a yes ;) Ranks are... Alpha x1 the alphas word is law. they make all the decisions and demand loyalty and strict respect from every wolf. Their mate and cubs are respected and held in high esteem. Beta x1 they keep the pack in line, and hire new omega's when needed. They do all the dirty work like dishing out punishments. they become alpha after the alpha dies. They act as advisers to the alpha and are a vital part in the functioning of the packs dynamics Delta x2 they become Beta after the Beta dies or retires. They are usually related to the alpha or beta in some way. Their job is to be a personal assistant to the alpha and learn the ways of leadership. If a delta is found to be unfit for betaship when the time comes their ascension to the rank will be postponed and another wolf appointed instead Healer x2 they heal the packs injuries using their knowledge of herbs and plants. these packs dont have a starclan or anything. healers are chosen by the alpha as pups. Gammas (infinite) loyal to their alpha and expected to die for the pack. Most have specific duties such as scouting, fighting or hunting and are trained for these roles as cubs depending on their body type and natural talent. Trackers, assassins, spies and teachers come under this as well. Milk-Giver x4 nursing un-weaned pups or expecting pups. Expected to kill their pups or find them another home if they are not strong enough to be a credit to the pack/ Omegas x5 the slaves of the pack. If a wolf cub cannot hunt fight or scout well, they become omegas. If an omega does well they may become gammas. they babysit and stop fights. Pups (infinite) unweaned pups. Cubs (infinite) in training to become gammas. Each cub is usually appointed a mentor once their area of expertise (scout, hunter or fighter) is decided but until then they are the responsibility of all gammas If you are wondering why there are no elders/retirees etc, its because ShadowPack is not so lenient as to have wolves who do not benefit the pack and only use resources. Writers block can be a bitch but please try your very best :) proper grammar, spelling and punctuation is required. ~Alpha has full jurisdiction (except for me but I'm alpha anyway so it doesn't matter for now lol) ~Keep it in law. No outrageous colours like bright green pelts or blue with white stripes. You can go a bit out there but natural patterns and colours only. ~put 'Let's see...' in others so I know you have read the rules and remove it once your character has been accepted ~No wolfspeak ~If you have a high ranked role your character must be suited for the task. I have no problem removing them from the rank if their character cannot handle it or you are inactive. Name: Illumi Gender: M Rank: Gamma (all rounder) Age: 2 years Personality: Illumi is the silent brother and doesn't have much in way of a sense of humour. He hates weakness, doing everything he can to be rid of it, and is certainly not proud or vain. He has a one track mind and rarely strays from his path once he is set upon it. Feelings confuse him and he only understands strength, family and the kill. He is gradually coming to understand the ways of other wolves more as he lives with Sunrise Pack and has become better at imitating emotion. Strengths: + His fighting ability has been honed since birth and is almost unequaled. So far the only wolf to match his skills is his brother as they were trained exactly the same. His style is very much stealth, sneaky attacks and speed but are very much offensive, and he always aims to kill not to maim + Stalking prey, whether it be wolf or herbivore, has always been his forte'. Unless his target is extremely sensitive or on the look out they won't see, smell or hear him coming until it is too late. His pelt and lack of presence lends much aid to this skill, which he has been developing since he was a pup. If his trainer/parents ever sensed him before he spoke to them he would be punished for it + Illumi is extremely intelligent and calculates every single move he makes to be in his favour. He does not care for others opinions about him so it matters not if this results in him being a coward if it means achieving his main purpose Weaknesses (Min 2): ~ Acting has never been one of his stronger skillsets and he is not a good liar. He gets away with fibs due to his impeccable poker face but even so he can't help but look suspicious ~ His biggest weakness is his brother, Killua. He almost has a brother complex against him and will protect him with his life no matter what greater good is involved. Sometimes what he thinks is best for Killua actually isnt, however, and can lead to him making some very rash decisions. He is not like this with Artemis or Meruem as he holds them in higher esteem than himself due to their rank Mate: None Kin: Nebula and Argent (parents-not in this rp) Meruem, Artemis and Killua (siblings) Nova (distant uncle) Looks/Pic: Tall and lanky wolf with barely an ounce of fat on him. It's all muscle and sinew. He has glossy, pitch black fur that is slightly longer than the average wolfs and a narrow face. His tail is long and brushes the ground when he walks. His eyes are quite large and round. They bear almost no expression unless he is angry or very happy. Like his pelt, they are pure black. He is like a living shadow. Other: He is currently on a mission in Sunrise Pack, that being to assassinate a certain wolf and to find out about the pack from the inside. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Name: Killua Gender: M Age: 2 years Pack: ShadowPack, former member of the main shadowpack and former temporary member of Duskfall Rank: Gamma, is fine for now with his rank. Family: Illumi (brother) Kill (paternal grandmother) Dire (paternal grandfather) Shadow (maternal grandmother) Argent (mother) Nebula (father) Meruem (sister) Artemis (sister) Including Nova, he has a few other uncles/aunts. Lots of extended family, including Shayla's family, Dire's sister's family, etc. Strengths + His fighting ability has been honed since birth and is almost unequaled. The only ones to best him or his brother in skills would have been their grandmother, in her earlier prime. Their parents are above them as well, but just barely- now that the brothers are getting into their prime. Like his brother, he kills fast, and hides his presence as much as he can. His brother is the moore stealthy of the two, thanks to his white pelt that is very much a contrast to his family's heritage. Together, they are the ultimate fighters, the literal yin and yang of violence (lol). His style is quiet and quick, and, like his brother, goes for the kill. + Lightning fast striker has always been his best weapon. He stays hidden as well as he can, and then he attacks. His attacks have been described as invisible, and only Illumi can seem to read his movements exactly, though his family can usually spot some of his movements thanks to their sensitive eyes. On the run travellers have often been warned of a fast striker, and a few times he's been called out, moments before he and or Illumi slaughter the wolf. If you see a flash of white, it is already too late. If his pelt is touched by e sun futing his atttack, you might understand why he is - in particular, LIGHTNING flash. At first, his pack considered dropping him off at anothrr pack, or killing him, because of his white pelt. Seeing as he WAS the pup they had wished for as the son of the perfect combination, he was allowed to live and prove himself. At three months, he bested every pup, and the omega, in a race for 'traying' or 'play training'. At six months, he cut down a rabbit that wandered into the camp, before any of the fully trainrd warriors even sniffed it out, saying it was his and Illumi's prey, no one else could eat it. In the pack, this was respectable and the wolves expected pups to learn survival of the fittest on their own, whether it be by death, being maimed, or survival. Where Illumi was punished if their parents could sense him coming, Killua was punished if they could hear, smell, or see him coming. + While he is on the leaner/lithe side of the scale, he has plenty of brute steength and shows it when he wants/needs. + Extremely sensitive ears and nose, picks up a lot of scents faster than most and hears danger before its smelled or seen. He is always the lookout and hunter for groups. Weaknesses ~ He's extremely loyal to shadowpack, and while he can keep his emotions in check, unknowingly regards emotion as highly as loyalty. ~ His biggest weakness is females and pups. He, unlike most of his famiy, finds it much harder to kill females and pups, though its never stopped him before, just plagued his dreams like a disease. Personality: Killua is the outgoing and slightly flashy brother. He's not outright flamboyant or vain, and won't openly show off without a very good reason. He's insanely clingy to Illumi and doesn't like to lose sight of him for more than a few moments, he's too familiar with the danger of a mission and feels his brother is the only one that understands him. They were for the most part unloved by anyone but their grandfather and grandmother, their mother showing them plenty of tough love while their fater was less than present unless they were training. Killua doesnt like weakness and is the more humorous of the two, giving a joke here and there or laughing about something he found funny. Biography: He was raised in Shadowpack and his parents were chosen to breed in order to produce the 'perfect litter', this including himself and his brother. Whether they could be considered 'perfect' is up to you. He is a very charismatic wolf and is highly calculating when he speaks, keeping his visual features unreadable unless he wants to show emotion. Other: Based off a mix of my own OC and a great character in an anime (brother IS Illumi in anime too, if you find them you get brownie points and some ideas of sun's and i's characters >:)) Description/Image: Pure white pelt. There is not a touch of any other color on him, unless he cakes his pelt in mud to stay hidden during a stealth mission, which he does often, actually. Like his brother, he is slightly fluffier than the average wolf with eyes as blue as my avatar. Post a picture later if i can find one. Ill probably alter his history and stuff a bit later to include Sunrise and Duskfall. He currently resides in Duskfall with his paternal uncle, Nova - a forbidden name/wolf that committed a crime in the main shadowpack....he is the target of the two brother's assassination mission.
