So while we were on FB chilling and waiting for the site to come back up I couldn't help noticing that I loved the simple lines of the art that appeared there and then also appears in the news and I thought to myself "I would SO FREAKING COLOR THAT!"  The image just in case. There are MANY others but this one is the one that sparked my idea. So push came to shove and I posted that I wanted a coloring book and got a rather surprising amount of support. (For me anyway) and a few people suggested I post it here. What do you guys think? Would you buy a lioden coloring book? Anything you'd like to see inside it? Throw all your ideas here! :D Ideas for the book itself: "There would be a heap of work needing to go into physical sales and marketing, branding, legal costs and whatnot, but how about a pdf, printable colouring book? Even a transparent version you can colour with PS/Sai/GIMP?" -Kraft (#738) Ideas for content: "Maybe a lioness and her cubs? probably won't buy one myself but I'll support for all of you guys. don't really see a downside to this (except maybe for xy and all the work he already has) but I just don't think I'll have the money for it. I've seen more of these doodles in the news posts if I'm not mistaken, so if they make this maybe they could start with the doodles he already made? (saves xy some work, although I bet these are easier to make for him than the usual site stuff. even if it's only because he doesn't have to colour them XD ) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Omg..love this idea...I can't draw..but damn if Im not a mighty fine colorist! XD....Make it and we will buy Yay! P.s.- not too keen on a loadable one myself...I'm an old school girl and need a physical thing to color...all you uber talented artsy techno folks can down load...I need paper.....sighs..lol 0 players like this post! I think it would be cool. But if it was PSD/ PDF or what have you, I can't color it if it was made available in those formats. I can only do PNG and JPG files with my programs. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I feel like this would cost a pretty penny to make, I mean, the site itself is so expensive. Making merchandise would be very expensive. You could just ask if you could color the pictures. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support a PDF version of this. I would imagine it would cost very little to create a PDF version of it beyond his time and server space. I would love a physical copy but I would be content with a digital copy plus I can print off my favorites over and over again. Edit to add I too have seriously thought about messaging him and asking permission to color them then going around and saving all the doodle. 0 players like this post! I think there should be a few free, downloadable pieces, though, for those who can't afford it. Like maybe most you have to buy, a few that you don't. And that way people will still be tempted to buy the rest, yet still get a taste of what it's like! c: 0 players like this post! Like? |

0.0 OMG YES! Gimme Lioden merchandise! :D It would take some work, but I'm betting it would sell well enough for the Admins to make a profit. A colouring book in particular would be great.
