She dragged herself through the sticky mud, grumbling to herself. She came across some animal remains, obviously hunted by a human. She kicked it aside, a flurry of bugs swarming away from it. "Gah! Startling me like that..." she hissed, "Reminds me of why I hate these dead things." Still distracted by the insects, she tripped over a root and smacked her face into a tree. She cried out, teaching anyone in the vicinity about 18 new curse words. She sat down, tired of walking into one painful experience after another. She threw her backpack onto the ground, taking out her machete and cleaning it off with her shirt. She hoped to find some dead wood soon to make a fire. The carcass in her pack would surely rot soon.

Narumi Fujioka/16/Forest/


She heard the female's voice as she stepped back from the tree when she jumped down. She gazed back at the girl for a moment when she looked at her. From here she could tell by her features that was a bit taller than her because she was only 5 feet. Feeling a bit annoyed by her height, she then flinched as she took a step back when the female held out her arm. Looking a bit unsure, she glanced at her arm, wondering if she could trust the girl. Overall it didn't matter to her anymore because she was mostly happy since she hasn't seen a human in a while. She gave a bright smile and took the female's hand. She began to look slightly nervous since she forgot what to do next. She was pretty sure that she forgot how to greet someone in this type of gesture. As soon as she remembered that it was a 'hand shake' she immediately began to shake the girl's hand. "I-I'm Narumi" she said with a shy tone,while laughing shortly to herself in embarrassment.

She giggled a bit at the girls shy-ness and replied with a smile "Let me guess, haven't seen people in a while" her eyes now glanced over to the her weapon "Karnataka... good choice" Charlie could tell had been a loner for a while and her social skills needed work " You passing through or what..." She tilted her head to the side " Or are you just looking for anything?"

She nodded, letting her know that she was right. She was very certain that she would kill herself if she hadn't seen a person sooner or later. "Thanks, it was my father's...." she said smiling as she looked at her katana and put if back in her sheath that was strapped onto her side. Having some thoughts about it, she sort of had to take the blade since it was passed down in her family for years. Having that in mind she almost forgot that she was Japanese. She took a small breath and looked at the girl. "Actually, I don't really know where I'm going." She told her as she laughed a bit but looked disappointed in herself. When her eyes looked into the ground she spotted a dog that was sitting next to the female. Her eyes brightened in excitement and quickly got closer to the animal. "Aaawwww how cute!!" She said joyfully, as she got down and pet him, touching and scratching his fur as much as she could.

Charlie crossed her arms in thought and occidentally mumbles out loud "where the heck have you been for the last year" although she smiled it had been a long time since Vane had a friend and she also heard her accent now. "I can get some food and there a building where i can get water if you need it." this was one of the strangest people she met so far "and do you mind me asking where you come from... I mean to be lost in here you can't of lived close by" Seriously though being lost here was quite hard, or at least to not know where to go.

She shrugged as she continued to pet the dog. For herself, she had to admit that she didn't know where she's been for the past year. It didn't matter to her where she was, she just knew that she had to survive as long as she could. She looked at the female and smiled. "That would be great, thanks so much" She said cheerfully.for her It was hard to try to find food lately, and she was very greatful for someone like this girl would help her out with what she needed. Then her expression became a bit uncertain when hearing the female's question as she tried to remember. "Well, my family and I were pretty new here when we moved from Japan, which was about a couple of years ago, and I've been searching for maps too, but ever since I left my aunt's I sort of lost track from where I was." She told her and looked down at the dog's paws

"Welcome to the area and i hope you enjoy your fun--filled stay" she said it with a smile before swinging her crossbow from over her back making sure it was loaded with spare hanging on her waist as well as her knives "I have some prey in mind but whether you stay in a building or wanna come is up to you" Vane had got up and seemed ready to go "You don't need a map just know that this is 'town'" she gestured behind her towards the buildings "and in the forest just try to go in one direction and you should find the way back" she waited for a reply but she had started to guess her reply.
