This is the start of a new beginning.

For generations, wolves have ruled the forest. They have hunted as they pleased, roamed as they pleased, and taken as they pleased. However, since some recent events have taken place, some have turned to a young pack around the center of these woods. Still trying to make it in life and figure out who should be in charge, this small band of wolves could be facing one of their greatest challenges ever.

RULES
- Please type at least four sentences at the very least for each reply.
- No unrealistic colors and such.
- If you use something of someone else's creation and you wish to give credit, please do so. However, any photos/pictures not credited to someone will be assumed to be made by someone else.
- If you've read this much, please say something about puppies in the Other.
- Hate the character, not the person.
- 2 character max.
- All wolves listed as kin and are not RP'd will be considered NPCs.
- 1 Alpha, 1 Beta, 1 Lead Hunter, 1 Omega.
- Hunters eat before Scouts

PACK RULES
- The Alpha's word is law.
- In the case that the Alpha is unable to do his/her job, the Beta will take his/her place.
- The immediate successor to the Beta is the lead hunter.
- The order of eating goes with ranks.

ROLES

Alpha: Ultimate leader of the pack, their word is law. They eat first, they get first pick of everything.

Beta: Usually the Alpha's mate. Second pick, usually is asked for an opinion on choices.

Lead Hunter: Third in command. Chooses where the hunters will hunt, next in line for Beta usually.

Hunters: One step above Scouts. Usually eats according to skill, age, and the order is chosen by the Lead Hunter's choosing. The ranks are assigned by the Lead Hunter and is announced by the Alpha.

Scouts: Their sole purpose is to patrol the territory. They are not allowed to catch prey while on patrol, and could be punished for doing so.

Pups: Undecided roles, watched over by their mother until they come of age. They become Scouts at the age of 1 year.

Omega: The lowest wolf in the ranks, the Omega does all the dirty work, usually sent to see if a new area is safe, to fetch new bedding, and sleeps in the worse places. Whatever's left after a meal is what they get.

Roles can changed through challenging a wolf of a higher rank. Scouts can overcome other Scouts and may challenge a Hunter for their rank.
