"Ok," Rusty nodded, and began searching around the tiny back room for her glasses. The Kangaroo tried not to eavesdrop but, couldn't help keep a large ear pricked towards the front room where Valerie and her mom were conversing. He moved quickly around the room searching between piles of books, his frustration growing slightly as he couldn't find them. At last he finally found the tiny round frames on a table, Rusty let out a triumphant "Ah-hah!"

When Valerie came back into the room and asked for her glasses, Rusty held them up proudly and then leaned down to place them on her face. Suddenly feeling self conscious knowing now she could actually see him, Rusty responded with a shy "How do I look?"

Once her glasses were placed in her face her vision came into complete focus and she could have sworn she got a highlight in her eyes as she looked up to Rusty. She giggled as he asked her how he looked. "Handsome, you l-look handsome" she grabbed the potted plant she needed and kissed his nose "oh and t-thank y-y-you!" She hurried out of the room and paused suddenly and she felt her face heat up. What did she just do!?

Valerie gave her mother the plant and shared a sheepish smile "there you g-go" she shrugged and her mother smiled, peeking over Valerie she looked at Rusty. "Who's your new employee ? " she asked smoothly and Valerie glanced back to Rusty, who she just kissed, and her ears managed to perk out of embarrassment. "H-he's my u-uh, d-date. M-mom, my d-date" she lowered her head and giggled with her mother. Val got a small pat on the back and her mother whispered goodbye before she left.

Valerie slowly turned around and looked up at Rusty with her sheepish smile and droopy ears "H-Hi" she murmured before giggling, still surprised she kissed the Roo on his nose.

The kangaroo blushed slightly at that, and gave her a tiny smile in response. As for the kiss, he froze in surprise, unable to speak properly, as Val and her mother conversed Rusty stood quietly in the background with a stupid grin, still unable to process what had happened. As Val's mother left, he mentally kicked himself felling that he should have introduced himself. He would be should to get Val back for that one.

When Val when back to where the Kangaroo stood, there was a strange light in his eye, a mxiture of amusement and something deeper. He gently grabbed her by the shoulders and leaned his face down to hers......

Valerie/23/Wild Sheep/Interactions: Rusty

The sheep waddled to her plants and made sure they were watered and clipped. She stole a daisy for herself and tried to be sneaky about eating it, enjoying the sweet taste and glancing over to Rusty before going back over to him and tucking a flower behind his ear and that's when he gently grabbed her.

She could hear her heart pounding in her ears and she looked to Rusty with a surprisedifferent expression, "R-Rusty?" She murmured as her ears moved back slightly as she looked to him and twitched her nose, happening to move it against his, an Eskimo kiss. Val's eyebrows went up and she smiled nervously, as her hooves held onto his shirt lightly.

Pausing for a moment after their noses bumped together, Rusty laughed a little before leaning in closer once again. He gently tilted Val's chin up, closed his eyes and softly kissed her on the lips. The kiss was suddenly interrupted by the bell on the door ringing. The sheep and Kangaroo pulled away in surprise, to see who had come into the shop at such an inopportune time.

Rusty was awash in rage when he recognized the monstrous hippo that ducked in through the door. Pausing for a moment in surprise, the hippo then threw his head back in laughter. "Oohhoo, look at you, little Rusty "the Rumbler" got himself a girly." With a smirk the hippo came closer "I'm surprised you're even able to walk after that beating I gave you last night, Red." Rusty was shaking slightly with rage, and through gritted teeth replied "Takes a lot more than that to take me out."

Ignoring Rusty's retort, the hippo continued this time directing his cruel gaze at Valerie, "not much of a catch this one, is he sweetheart?" "How can you even kiss that mug? It was bad enough before I turned it inside out. Don't even get me started on his family, I've heard his siblings dumpster dive just to survive." With another chortle the hippo added,"too bad he can't fight worth crap, if he did he might actually be able to feed those poor kids, but then again that's where they belong, hehe, in the garbage."

Rusty could barely keep the lid on his fury, insulting him was one thing, but nobody talked about his family like that, before he could open his mouth though, Val had surprised them both by stepping forward and giving the hippo a piece of her mind. The hippo cut her off though, noticing the stutter and with a smug glance at Rusty said," What's wrong sweetie, c-c-c-cat g-g-g-ot your t-tongue, you're just as invalid of an invalid as this worthless sack of fur." "Oh what'cha gonna d-d-do, s-s-s-tutter at me some more? With that Rusty launched himself over the counter at the hippo.

Oh how the kiss took her little breath away, she loved how it felt and the things it did to her heart. Love swimming through her heart and mind. With the quickened break she frowned slightly and turned around she almost instantly clung to Rusty's side and gave a small pout.

The Sheep was listened to the Hippo and didn't like what she was hearing, rude sack of blubber. With the sudden fire of insults and embarrassing remarks aimed at Rusty, Valerie felt a little defensive. No one was allowed to come into her shop and start this madness with anyone! Valerie took a small brave step forward but then the conversation was brought to her. This talk of the unfortunate state of Rusty's family wasn't something to laugh at and it honestly hurt the little sheep to hear such things.

Val looked up and noticed the grit the Kangaroo had and she knew she had to speak up now, so she took two more small steps forward and cleared her throat. "Ahem, I-I-I don't appreciate h-ho-how you're s-s-speaking! I s-suggest you remove y-y-yourself from m-m-my s-shop now or I-I'll p-p-ress char-charges! Someone a-as big as you s-s-shouldn't be p-picking f-fights b-because y-y-you probably can't even g-get outside t-to start i-i-it! " she huffed and her little tailate seemed to frizz out from her stress. The sheep thought she would have done some damage but was instantly teased and she slunk back a few steps but then Rusty flew past her and she gasped "Rusty!! No!"

"And show up here again, I'll be giving you more than just a warning," the large Siberian tiger growled, having hold of two delinquent adolescents - a raccoon and a rat - before tossing them out through the open shop window, and standing to watch and make sure they left before he returned to his station. It was the second time those two had been caught stealing; if it was food he would have let them away with it, but some dirty magazines? Not exactly a necessity.
He returned to his small station, glancing over the monitors quickly; in a department store with four floors, they should really have more on-staff security. He wrote down the names of the two teenagers, ensuring they were barred, before hearing someone approach and clear their throat. He glanced up with a friendly smile, "Hi there, how can I help you?"
