Personality: Cautious and quiet, she was raised up by a young woman living on the streets. Something happened that separated them, and she went from sweet and naive to cunning and sharp of tongue. She does not trust easily, and is very skittish. Her sense of loyalty is next to zero, as she has learned not to rely on anyone besides herself. This all simply a defense mechanism, as Voodoo truly is a kind and caring creature. But being kind and caring on the streets gets you killed.

Everything seemed so hopeless, so pointless without her. Why should he gaze upon the glittering stars, shining like diamonds upon the sea of inky blackness, without his beautiful mate to distract him? How could he enjoy the quiet darkness and peace of nighttime without her sleeping form beside him, her quiet breathing more of a lullaby to him than the eerie song of the crickets? Forgingswords gazed upon all that is beautiful in the world but he did not see it. He only wanted to see Her. Her, the sun to his sky and salt to his tears. Her. His love. Chillygaze.

He felt so pathetic as he thought these useless, longing thoughts. His mind wandered helplessly, floundering for any glimmer of hope that perhaps She might return to him. Heavy paws the size of a bowl plodded delicately across the forest floor, surprisingly muted and graceful for the hybrid wildcat's mass. These moods often sent him meandering through the varying landscapes, chasing after memories in his mind and his body following suit. He hated that all he could think about was Her. He wanted to return to normalcy, but nothing was normal without his love. So maybe he was running away too. Maybe he was trying to escape from the smothering dreams of a time long gone.

Who knew? Forge definitely did not.

All the walking and he found himself in a place not yet traveled by he. The imposing trees slowly thinned out, allowing the gentle warmth of the sun to finally pierce the once dense canopy and wash him in a golden light that might as well have set him on fire. His sleek fur was a sea of reds and orange, blazes of copper and bronze giving him a metallic tint as he stood there in the crisp wind. It smelled salty and gave a bitter bite and it brushed cool fingers through his pelt. He could see a body of water so vast that he thought the sky might have succumbed to the pull of gravity. Forgingswords was baffled by the sight of the glittering blue sea in the distance, so much so that he barely noticed the territory markers he nearly crossed over.

The liger stopped abruptly, blinking in confusion as he gazed at the invisible line before him. Where the hell had he walked to? How long had it been since he left Skyclan?
