Kairos - Malvado Shaman - With Eir (for now)

Now awake, Kairos shook themself, tapping their skull mask against the wall of the den to right it. "Ah, that was... interesting. Thank you for waking me, Eir. I can't have the leader angry at me, no? I'd have to waddle my way out of the territory," Kairos' raspy, gravelly voice had a slight hint of amusement.

There was a pause as the dwarf's ears perked up, "And seems you have work to do. Mind the rain, should let up in a few hours, then the sun will burn the fog away," There was a hum from Kairos as they exited the den, flanked by Eir, "See if you can find anything on the hills during your hunt. I want to know if the Viper's Fang still grows there. Winds guide you, and good luck."

With that, the small wolf started to slowly make their way to the usual gathering place, abnormally short legs making their walk longer than it should be. Already it was quite busy, and Eir had ran up ahead to probably go hunting on her own, knowing that Kairos preferred to keep the locations to only the both of their minds.

Being small, Kairos did like to move about almost invisibly, especially when it meant being able to get into the food pile relatively unnoticed, dragging an entire rabbit in their jaws, going into a more hopping run as they tried to mask the fact they had been missing from the activity going on.

Eir - Malvado Hunter - Sneaking off to hunt

Eir trotted ahead of her parent at first, before veering off the closer she got to the main pack area. She, unlike Kairos, was much more visible with her bright white splotches and greater size. The path to where Kairos mentioned was unfortunately towards the area, so Eir had to take a slower, more circuitous route to make sure someone didn't spot her. The rain likely helped her, as the water made everything smell stronger, and even the soil now had a strong, hearty scent as the drizzle continued.

The tracks of prey would become hard if the drizzle turned into a downpour, but Kairos didn't mention that. Agh, her parent only mentioend things relevant to the request. She'd have to figure out if she could sucessfully hunt something after the rain let up, if there was enough time for the ground to dry.

"Hopefully the prey aren't hiding from the rain," she replied, as she played a scene in her mind about prey being hidden. "Would be the worst hunt ever," she whispered, as she thought of the embarrassment of not finding a lot of food on the hunt.

As the trainee continued to rub his shoulder against the trunk of the tree his white eyes caught sight of an older pack mate. At first he thought nothing of it, however as the male neared him he quickly payed attention. He stood upright, almost stiffly and watched at the male, his ears pricked forward alert. It soon became clear that the other male was one of the Shamans, Cha’Akmongwi. He nodded as the older male told him to look for Baba.

Waiting a few moments, the shaman soon left, only looking back once with a brief smile. The trainee knew that the smile was fake, but it did not bother him. Quickly he too parted ways, his paws splashing in little puddles as he ran. It had begun to rain, Lucas loved the rain, the smell, the feel, sound, even the taste. It was not that long before the brute caught sight of his Alpha, slowing his pace down to walk he walked up to his alpha calmly. “Baba…” He spoke quietly, his voice almost drowned out by a sudden clap of thunder.
