Dakota dragged the deer back to the packs camp and let go of it licking her chops once she does before barking to signal the rest off the pack that food was here, she sat on her haunches and waited for the rest of the pack to join before she began eating the doe even though she was quiet hungry. 0 players like this post! Sorin flexed his paws, looking up to Irene in quiet interest, letting her treat his wound and nods approvingly. "You know your way around plants, if you could find me some plantain it'd help with the swelling and release some of the puss. I believe we should still cover it though, the wound is open and the flesh is tender, flies are already attracted to it. I don't want maggots on top of everything else." he says knowledgeably. He had been old enough to retain some of his mother's teaching before he was taken away and had experimented with plants for as long as he could remember. Irene moved quietly about her den, picking up plantain leaves and aspen wood with her mouth, before moving back over to Sorin. She used her tail to wash off his wounds, before spreading the aspen and plantain over his wounds. she moved to the corner of her den, she she picked up quite a few cobwebs, then moved back and spread it over the aspen and plantain, leaving it there to set. She sighed and moved back, looking at the heavily wounded brute who lay in front of her. "It's going to scar. you're going to have some pretty serious scarring, best case scenario. worst case, you die from the infection. that's also bad. actually, scratch that. best case is that you don't die, and have some scarring. that really sucks, because you have such gorgeous fur.." She said, before quietly stopping herself from making a fool of herself, and quietly blushing. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sorin smiled at Irene with a chuckle, "Thank you.." Turning to look at the new female who walked into the den he flicked his tail slightly, "I am here until I can walk again, the alpha has already okayed my stay here and Irene has treated my wounds. I will be gone once I am healed, as seeing most if this pack doesn't seem to enjoy my company much." He says and lays his head on his paws tiredly. Maxwell Max couldn't keep his excitement in any longer and ran towards the group his tail shook. "Who this?" He asked trying to get a look at him. He looked over at the others "How much do we know about him, Is he from the facility?" He continued to ask as he began to talk rather fast. Honey Honey watch as other went to investigate the newcomer. Honey shook her head and stood up and left the camp. She began to walking into the forest. Sorin heard the commotion outside the den and just shook his head, mumbling to himself. "I am making more trouble than is worth this pack's hospitality.." Closing his eyes and blocking out the noise he rested, not sure how long he'd actually stay. His dreams were filled with Irene, the pretty aussie's light blue eyes captivating him. He sighed softly when he woke, he knew he would probably never be accepted by the whole of the pack so therefore had no chance with the pretty female and flicked his ears. He was the only one there that was more than half wolf, he could smell it. Wolves smelled allot different than dogs, and he decided that was one of the defining factors of why he was so much of an outcast. He licked his lips, his mouth was dry and his stomach was growling but didn't dare to go outside on his own, especially on his bad leg. He wouldn't be able to make it for one, and for two he was the outsider and not many seemed to approve of him being there. He was grateful for the Alpha's allowing him to be there tough, that would slim the chances of him getting attacked.. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Irene sighed as she munched down on the deer. She got up and stretched, then got up and moved out of camp, wandering the forest. she moved as near to the border as she dared, then let out an agitated yell. She was sick of everybody hating the newcomer. She, personally, was captivated by his fur, a dark, almost black mix. And his smell, as well. His smell stuck out the most to her. His scent, the one only half-wolves have, was so, refreshing, to say, after having smelled only dogs for such a long time. She ruffled her pelt a bit, then laid it back down. She moved back towards camp, picking up a few burdock leaves on her way back, to not make anything look suspicious. she got back into camp, then into her den, setting down the burdock leaves in a neat pile and then leaving the den, moving back down to the deer, ripping off a chunk, then moving back into her den. She saw Sorin awake, and she set down the meat chunk infront of him. " Have a nice sleep?" She said, laughing lightly."Actually, i bet it was. you're still tired, i can tell." She sat next to him, letting her water-tail rest next to her. she Slumped down and laid down next to him, still a bit embarrassed from her outburst in the forest. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sorin smiled at her tiredly and bit into the deer, eating hungrily and licking his lips when he was done. His pointed ears swiveling to catch every noise, eyes clearer and more alert. The sleep has helped him greatly but he would need days, if not weeks, to recover. He could smell her embarrassment but said nothing about it, not wanting to hurt her feelings. "It did, thank you. The wound has already started to feel better though if the rotting flesh doesn't come off in a few days we may have to cut it off. Maybe drying out the wound would help, it is very full of pus, I was able to get some of it out initially but after a while it hurt so bad I couldn't touch it. I couldn't find the right herbs to treat it but now that you have I'd like to try drying it and draining it again because the pus is definitely not helping the would, just attracting more flies." he said in his surprisingly now smoother voice since he drank water. "Could you get me some water? That our lead me to a pond somewhere? My tongue is dry along with the rest of my mouth." he chuckles. 0 players like this post! Like? |
