-sighs- So...I don't know if anyone knows or what or whenever but...I did a stream a while back, and I drew this:  Which...was my grandma's cat...I was gunna finish it and print it out on a canvas to give to her as a gift... That plan got cancelled when she passed away on the 28th March... Digging through all my files and this one hit me hard... I don't know if I should finish it or not...Should I finish it? As a memorial? PLEASE do not criticize this...normally I would ask for it...but I please ask that you guys be...a little bit sensitive, since this was an extremely hard situation for me...I only really want your guys thoughts on whether I should finish it or not...  0 players like this post! I would finish it and this is why: When my grandfather passed away I was upset. Before he passed away I made a paper crane for him. He kept it with him in the ER at all times. When he passed away I had the crane as a memory of him. I took the crane to my graduation party and I plan to have it at my wedding. When I see the crane I smile and feel like he is looking at it with me. I am grateful I have that one special thing that connects me to him and I believe it would be something you will like to have later in life. I also agree with the idea of leaving a copy of the sketch though. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's honestly up to you. Most have said that you should finish, while others say leave it as it is. But if your heart is their to finish what you started, then by all means. Firstly, I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I know such things can be very, very hard to cope with. Secondly, I think you absolutely should. Perhaps as a tribute of her life and of your relationship with her. I think it would be a beautiful way to remember her. ❤ 0 players like this post! Like? |
