James laughed and set the lamp down, plugging it in beside her mattress. He pulled the book from under his arm and handed it to her, "At least you'll have something to do now." He smiled down at her before running his other hand through his hair.

James plugged in the lamp, and then pulled a book out from under his arm.
"At least you'll have something to do now," he said and then ran his hand through his hair. She looked at the book old worn book. It was called Gone with the Wind, and it was heavy for a book.
"Thanks," she softly spoke, glad that she now would not be just sitting here staring at a wall.

He nodded, "You're welcome." He smiled at her before turning back towards the door and walking out, locking it behind him, and going down to the living room where the men sat and talked.

As he left and closed the door, sbe looked back to tbe book and started reading. It was nice to have something to do. She tried to think that she wasn't here, but at home. On her own bed and and reading.

James went with Spencer to town to get some more food and other stuff they needed, Alex and the other two guys stayed, watching tv and talking for a while before Steve went upstairs to talk to Margo, "Hey," He realized that she had new furniture, "Who gave you that?" His voice was somewhat harsh.

After some time had passed, ome of the other guys cam up to check on her. He entered the room, and immediately said,"Hey, who have you that?" His voice had harshness to it, which snapped her out of the book.
"James did," she answered. Great, she thought. The guy didn't look very friendly, and he didn't sound happy.

Steve let out a groan, "James is too soft." He said lowly before going over and taking the book from her, ripping it from her hands and throwing it out of the door and into the hall, laughing as he walked out himself, closing and locking the door.

"Jerk," she muttered after the door had closed. She didn't expect that to last long anyway. She picked at her fingernails, and wished she could be outside. The rain had stopped and it was a little musty in this room.

Steve went back downstairs and talked to the other guys, James and Spencer had gotten everything on the list and started to go back to the house. As they arrived they saw a new vehicle there, it was the head of the mafia, he was probably there to check on the job. The two boys brought everything inside and joined the rest of the men's conversation.

Margo heard voices downstairs, but she could't hear them very well. I wonder what they're talking about, she wondered. Killing puppies? Abducting other teens, maybe? Her legs were getting sore and cramped, so she got up and started walking softly at the bavk of the room from one side of the wall to the other.

Sam talked to the boys, asking them about the job and the girl herself. Once he was sure he was satisfied with their job he told them a fee more details of how the job was going to continue to happen before leaving, no doubt on to talk to the next group about whatever job they were on.

After she got blood flowing back to her legs, Margo thought of escaping. She knew it was probably impossible. Five or more guys guarding the house, versus a seventeen year old teenage girl. And adding she had no idea where she was. She wished she could punch someone. Her fists clenched at the thought. Too bad the only people around her wouldn't take to kindly to being punched.

James talked with the guys for a while before going to the kitchen and grabbing a drink, a beer. He cracked it open and took a few sips, Steve and Seth noticed his drink and went get their own, drinking as well.

The loneliness swept over her again, and she sat down on one of the chairs. She heard very loud laughing downstairs, and for a reason she doesn't know, she gets a chill down her back. Margo scratches an itch on her arm, and absent-mindedly tapped her fingers on the back of her the chair.

After a few drinks James started to lightly buzz and went upstairs, lightly knocking on Margo's door before opening it, "Hey." He called and walked in, sitting beside her, "You good?"
