"I don't believe you" I said to him before placing a hand on his chin to get a better look "Looks more like someone punched you" I said to him, I wouldn't let anyone abuse him that included the people that he lived with mostly because I new they wouldn't get away with it "You can come over to mine after school" I said to him.

i sighed and shook my head taking his hand off my chin before turning my head to look out the window "fine i may have got into a fight with some one but its fine, you should see them, plus i still got to fix up my motorbike so i cant come over" i told him lying about the first part but the second part was true although i would love to go to his place but my dad really wouldnt be happy if i was late home.

I looked away from him choosing to stay quiet after that, I ended up being like that pretty much most of the day, I knew he had lied to me and I wondered why for a moment why he had done that, I was hardly paying attention in lessons while I thought about it.

i sighed feeling bad for not telling him the truth but i couldn't i just couldn't. all day i kept giving him glances wondering if he hated me for not telling him the truth, that thought alone pained me i didn't want him hating me but the way he didnt talk to me made me think that he did, so i decided to not cause any trouble and just keep my distance

I ended up getting beaten up at lunch by some of the school bullies which for me was normal, I guessed I was scared of him just messing with me like most of the kids around here and was thinking that he wasn't my friend if he chose to lie to me twice that is.

i walked around at lunch not bothering to eat any thing as all i could think about was Dean, i saw some guys beating some one up and saw it was Dean making anger flow through my body this time i wasnt going to let that happen so i stalked over to the guys "stop" i said in a low tone glaring at them as i ripped them away from him, standing in front of him protectively

I stayed curled up in a ball mostly because I had been trying to protected my head and face from the attack from those guys, I had heard Byron's voice by I didn't think much of it mostly because I didn't expected him to even stand up for me.

luckily this time it was only two guys so i knew i could take them on, i glanced at Dean and sighed wishing i got here sooner but shook it off putting my full attention "leave him alone" i said my tone threatening but it didnt stop them from smirking and one of them try to throw a punch at me but i caught his fist growing more angry than i was already, i yanked his arm forward punching the guy senseless before the other guy pulled me off and started punching me only getting a couple and giving me a black eye before i then punched him several times.

The guys soon enough backed off and headed away, I had no idea why he had even helped me, I didn't question it at that moment mostly because I didn't want anything bad to happen, I didn't move yet and stayed in the same persiton that I had been in and kept my eyes closed.

As soon as the guys left i looked back at Dean crouching down beside him placing one of my hands on his side, even though my eye was throbbing "hey, you ok?" i ask concerned as he was still curled up in a tight ball but i knew i wouldnt let any one hurt him ever again .

i sighed and shook my head "no, im sorry i lied to you, its just i cant say..." i trail off my voice full of guilt, i wanted to stay here, and keep him safe so he doesnt get beat up any more even if it makes me an outcast i wouldnt care as long as he didnt hate me or think i was using him for some thing

"Tell me the truth" I muttered to him wanting to know why he had even lied to me in the first place, I wondered why he had lied to me, if it was something about him being put in danger then I'd protect him no matter what mostly because no one would take him away from me.

i sighed and shook my head "i cant" i mumbled knowing i couldnt i would but i just couldnt if my dad found out i told some one again it would put him at risk and i just couldnt put him through the pain my dad could bring the bruises from last time have only just faded and that was a couple years ago.

"Tell me" I said stenly at that moment "I don't care about what would happen if you tell me so just tell me" I said to him, I didn't get why he was keeping this secret from me when we were meant to be friends. I watched him for a moment before hearing the rain outside.
