One feature I've always loved is that when a pride-member dies they keep their items on. However, I've noticed that the main male lions don't do the same.

I suggest that once a main male dies/is retired they keep on the items equipped to them just like pride-members. Meaning that they too could be taken off by choice instead of automatically.

Now I have no clue if this has been suggested before, but it doesn't look like it's on the reject list... so I thought I'd give it a shot and suggest it.

EDIT 2: Because some people may like the automatic process of the decor being taken off their king, perhaps there can be a Toggle for this feature.

That way, for people who'd prefer their kings to keep their decor, they can have that option--and for those who would prefer their kings without the decor, that decor can be taken off automatically for them (the same as it is now).

EDIT: if you do not support this idea, please explain why.
