Personality:
Because her ancestors were attack dogs, Velvela is definitely a little more fierce than most dogs, but she is very brave and intelligent. She is great at making plans (especially for battle) and she knows how to set them into motion effectively. She almost always appears calm and collected, no matter how angry she might be feeling; this façade makes it very difficult for others to know what she's thinking, and it makes her much more dangerous and unpredictable. While courteous towards enemies and allies alike, she has very little empathy for others and is prepared to maim, kill or manipulate anyone to achieve her goals. She's definitely much more of an observer, and she prefers to lurk in the shadows and watch until she's needed. She's also very stubborn, and she hates to admit that she's wrong.

Despite some of her bad traits, Velvela is a good leader, able to keep large groups of dogs under control and motivate them in battle. While it's hard to get close to her, she can be a very useful ally, and if she truly likes you, she'll be a loyal friend. She also wouldn't mind having a mate, but finding one is not her top priority; she's more focused on her job as Lead Warrior at the moment.

Appearance:
Velvela doesn't look as 'feminine' as other females, and she has a more muscular figure. She's twenty-seven and a half inches tall (at the withers), and she weighs ninety pounds. She has a long scar running down her right shoulder, which she got from a wolf. Her coat is short and dense, giving her good protection from the weather. The upper-half of her fur is wolfish-grey in color, while the fur on her legs is a reddish color. Despite her muscular build, she moves lightly on her feet and has an elegant march, a common trait of her breed. She has amber eyes.

Bio:
In the past, Velvela's family was part of a wolf pack, since they were too aggressive for the liking of the dog pack. However, they were weak by wolf standards, because they were dogs, and her family had very low rankings within the pack. As Velvela grew up, she started to become a bit more rebellious, saying that the way the wolves treated them was unfair. This comment earned her a nasty wound on her shoulder from the Alpha. The wound never completely healed, but instead became a scar. After receiving her injury, Velvela decided that she wasn't going to put up with the cruel treatment any longer, and she left the wolves. She lived on her own for about a year before she found the dog pack. She was allowed to join because she seemed much calmer than her ancestors, and once she was in the pack she worked up the ranks to Lead Warrior, where she is content for now. She plans on eventually finding and killing her old Alpha from the wolf pack.
