EscapeWhat? Where am I? What happened?! The last you remembered you were stalking that tasty looking zebra, the next something pierces your side and your out like a light. Now your in a strange cage in a circle-like room with other leopards, there are no lights but you don't need them. Some have obviously been here longer then you as somethings wrong with them. Is... Is that one glowing!? You've been captured by mad scientists and transported to a underground facility hidden under the Savannah. Once a day your let out with the other leopards to hunt in a force fielded room. Inside is prey much larger then the ones out in the wild. Does that leopard have wings!? Whats going on here? Can you and the others find a way out or are you doomed to live in forced captivity forever? Rules1) No Mating/Birthing scenes! <*b>Fade to Black<*/b*> 2) No force mating. 3) NO Powerplay/godmodding; Such as using another character thats not yours in any way. Insta-hitting. Indestructible/Powerful characters. give others a chance to reply before you do! 4) 4+ Sentences! Be Descriptive. Correct grammer and spelling to the best of your ability. NO "Kills prey runs back home drops and sleeps." Or "__ Panted and slept, it was hot outside." Or "Doug asked Jay 'do u know the best place to hunt? r u hungry?' " 5) Keep Cussing to a minimum. 5A) Put 'marshmallowz' if you read this far. 6) Keep the genders even. 7) As many characters as you can handle. 8) Hate the character not the player 9) You cant be in one place then suddenly go to another if something is going on that you dont like. 10) If your character dies, it is DEAD. No Regeneration. 11) Destiny (#17200) & Cora (#38247) are the owners of this RP. 12) Be nice OOC 13) Animals allowed : Leopards! (THREE Jaguars ; Sprinkles & Kiwi(?) reserved one.) 14) This is a semi-literate roleplay and I understand writers block... Ignore rule 5A and put 'Crazy Catz' in the cats bio if read this far. 15) Please don't 1v1 if others don't reply. You can do this for 4 total posts. IE You, them, you, them. Then YOU have to wait for at least 2 other people.. I don't want my thread clogged with 1v1ing. 16) PREY REFERENCE: Large: Rhinoceros, Young Giraffe, blue wildebeest, Buffalo, Zebra Medium: Kudu, Impala, Eland, Okapi, Hirola, Antelope. XX 17)NEW RULE! There can only be 1 kind of each mutation! There can be different 'variations' of them like the O5 winged, there can be 1 with wings that aren't fully developed or don't work. Or may have feathers growing from their legs and shoulder or something. NO TWO MAY BE THE SAME! 18)NEW RULE! In the beginning all leopards will be there! Though the O5 (Original 5) will call them by their arrival numbers until they fully learn the names and such. The escape will NOT happen until I or Cora says so. I have planned what the escape is and most will have developed their mutations within the first 3 IRL days of being in the lab. Character List:Characters!LEOPARD INFO! ~Original Five... I was planning on having those ones planned and have them lead the leopards (since their more skilled) 1. Winged (Tires quickly when flying)(For never, Forever ; Lead Warrior) 2. Glow in the dark (Can choose to glow or not)(? ; Cub Watcher??) 3. Elemental (VERY limited use on the powers. VERY weak when in use. 10 minutes tops or gets very weak. etc)(Mine ; Leader) 4. Over grown claws & teeth (Cinder ; Deputy) 5. Shadow Manipulation (Can form shadow 'creatures' and move shadows and such. Can't really do anything with powers just yet.)(Cora ; Lead Hunter)~ ~For every 3 leopards there shall be 1 caretaker. They are in a circular room, cages are kinda rounded on the sides and about 2 feet apart. In total there are 20 cages, 2 door ways (One for the caretakers and one to the outdoor arena). They get to hunt twice a day, before sunrise and after sunset, ALL leopards go out at once. 24/7 water by electric pipes that run through the tops of the cages into good sized bowls. Cages are big enough for cats to walk in circles and lay out fully like this XX~ Caretakers + Their leopardsVeronica - The oldest of the five caretakers, she doesn't ever treat her leopards and rarely does anything for the poor creatures. She'll refill the automatic containers when needed but that's about it. Veronica is 5'9, has dark brown hair and matching eyes. ~ Nightlight ~ Hetero ~ Sylvia Sebastian - A loving caretaker, often treating his leopards and sneaking them food in-between hunting hours. Sebastian is a massive 7', with army-cut black hair and startling silver-like eyes. ~ Sten ~ Wanheda ~ Vex Lacy - A lazy girl who only does what she has to and ignores them the rest of the time. Lacy is 5'7, has curly blue streaked black hair and dark green eyes. ~ Astra ~ Vesper ~ Rainy Dustin - A kind young male who treats his leopards often, even when not instructed to do so. Dustin is 6'6, short blonde hair and bright blue eyes. ~ Jasper ~ Aozora ~ Kalik Amethyst - A bright young girl, the youngest there in fact, who takes great care of her leopards and even sneaks ice into their water to cool them down. She is 6'1, with startling green/blue eyes and dark drown, nearly black, hair. ~Azure ~Claw ~Dride ~Thalviraz ROOMS/ARENAArena ~ (Couldn't find good picture) It is a large circular area. It has a diameter of 1.6 Km. Holds quite a few different kinds of wildlife prey (SEE RULE #16!) for the leopards and is guarded by a 24/7 force field dome over top and below. The Cell Room. (^^^) It is a circular room, about 12 m in diameter. Around the room, spaced about 1 foot apart is a bunch of cages. They are the perfect size for a big cat to move in and lay out. This room has only 1 source of light, a really dim security light in the middle of the ceiling. To the north of the room is a set of double doors where the people enter and exit. The room (^^^) A long rectangular room with 2 sets of long metal tables. This is where they place the leopards during experimentation. To the southwest of the room is the set of double doors where they bring leopards in/out of to be tested on or returned to cages. Jasper Male / 3.8 Years / Elemental Mentions: ALL Amethyst. Location: Cell Room. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten. Eleven. Twelve. Thirteen. Fourteen. Fifteen. Sixteen. Each leopard, counting himself, was accounted for luckily. Each one had been brought in over the past week or so. Each had been taken into The Room and experimented on. As a result each was gaining something strange, like the Originals. Which is what Jasper called them anyway. Aozora, himself, Astra, Sten and Nightlight. Each one different from the last and came in after himself. Aozora, poor thing, had been born here and ever since Jasper has been teaching her how to survive though it's not doing much. His shadow manipulating friend had no true sense to live in the wild and it pained him. All these new leopards he despised at the moment, having more freedom then any of the O5 did. Them having been here for months. The large male flicked his tail in irritation, eyes glowing a slight red color and a few sparks popping off his claws. He had terrified some of the newer leopards doing this when they were first brought in. He had freaked and his paws had erupted into flames. Scaring himself and the others, though they were quickly put out by the lack of a major source to keep them going. Jasper gave a growl as one of the humans came in and took Sixteen (Thalviraz) and Fifteen (Dride) back into the room. Pushing the pointy needles into his shoulder and putting him in a daze-like state. The girl glared at him and swatted at his cage with a snort when he growled, taking back the leopard towards the room. Every so often they would come and take 1-2 leopards back. Though the O5 rarely went back anymore, they were fully developed and it terrified him to not now what was happening to the others back there. They were the newest ones though and would probably go back more then the others at this point. Vex Male / 2.6 Years / Spiked Mentions: ALL Amethyst. Location: Cell Room The ninth male gave a low hiss as one of the many caretakers waltzed into the room. Luckily it wasn't his male, and happened to be one of the girls. Deep yellow eyes watched her every move in the slighty darkened room as she took the two newest and prayed they would be Ok. His shoulders and tail had been hurting since he first got here. Little bumps forming on them and it was beginning to freak him out. What is happening to me?! They had slight points to the top, but were still buried deep under the skin and only tiny, painful, bumps at the moment. Everyday he went back into The Room they seemed to grow. The stupid humans poking and prodding the painful growths on him and making soft growls of pain to come from the dazed animal's mouth. They were never sedated, simply put into a daze that didn't allow them to react to what was happening. It was nearly pitch black in the room, the only source of light that weird leopard who glowed and a security light in the center of the ceiling. When he chose to that was. Vex snorted lowly, his ears pinning back, after those two returned they'd be let out to hunt, he flexed his claws in waiting. He wanted, no, needed to dig his claws and teeth into something and draw blood. He hoped it was a Zebra or something, he was restless and needed the run.  0 players like this post! The last week or two, as it all blurred together in this sunless hell, had been a nightmare of pain and fear. Her mother had finally gotten fed up and chased them out of her territory. She had timidly asked her brothers if they could hunt together for a few days at least, but they simply laughed at her. "Scared?" they mocked, sneering, "Mother dearest isn't going to protect you any more." Then they had swiped at her face and spooked her off further. Sylvia had sprinted at least a kilometer, feeling betrayed, until she felt safe enough to rest. She slept fitfully and awoke to the familiar feeling of gnawing hunger. Knowing she had to hunt, she had prowled around until happening upon a herd of gazelle. Swallowing in anticipation, she crouched in the pale grass and crept forward. Suddenly, a sharp pain in her flank had her yowling in pain. The herd fled. Snarling, she turned to find out what had cost her the meal. The swift movement put her off balance as she suddenly swayed, dazed. Grey blobs and shrieking pale monkey-things met her half-lidded gaze before she passed out. She had awoken in a strange cold den. Unnatural light filled the area, throwing the metal into harsh relief to her eyes. Sylvia looked around, wondering how she had gotten here. She noticed that most of the glow actually came from another leopard and hissed, startled. Backing up, she only met the other end of her cage. Older leopards simply gazed disdainfully at her. Whining, she curled back up and tried to sleep, hoping this was all a dream. Opening her eyes later to the same place, she despaired silently. A human came around every so often to let them hunt and refill the water dishes, but that was about all of the variety they got. Once, she was harshly grabbed and taken into another room. Several sharp pains had her yelping as they injected her with unknown substances. She tried to swipe at them before noticing that she was too numb to move properly. Eventually they finished and tossed her back with the others just as casually. Left with a splitting headache that refused to go away, she mostly ignored the others for now. 0 players like this post! Azure | Female | 2.5 Years | Eye Colour Changes | Mentions: All She woke up on cold, hard ground. She looked around, where are the trees? The grass? The sky? She tried to retreat, but couldn't. Her muscles were too stiff, but her eyes quickly adjusted, and she saw other leopards. Suddenly, she remembered something.. Someone. Was her sister okay? She called out in a hoarse and quiet roar, 'where are we? Does anyone know?' She asked desperately, hoping another leopard will answer. 'Where's Rainy?' She called desperately, she was scared and confused. She tried again to get up and look through the bars of what looked like a cage, but only managed to sit up, her shoulders slumped. Rainy | Female | 2 years | mentions: All Rainy forced her eyes to open, a blurred arrangement of shapes danced before her eyes. Faintly she could hear her name being called. She couldn't identify the voice, it was muffled and quiet. Rainy let out a low moan of pain as she stumbled to her paws. Eyes coming back into focus and ears begining to hear properly. She looked around, in the cage next to her she recognised her sisters bright eyes. "Azure!" she called, pressing her body against the bars to get a closer to her. Wait a minute, bars!? She took a step back, taking in her surroundings. There were about 14 or 15 other leopards around her, she noted a few eyes had fallen on her, perhaps picking up the fact that she wasn't a leopard. But a jaguar. She was enclosed in a strange human-made den thing, un-natural light poured from strange little Suns on the roof. Rainy walked forward to the front of her den and squinted past the bars. There was no room to run or climb, no grass, to trees or sky. Just the dark gloominess beyond. Her voice came out hollow and frail as she whimpered. "Where are we?" Oops sorry it is a little short, it may be a little rushed as I am about to board a plane lol 0 players like this post! She just wanted some peace and quiet. Perhaps she could sleep the migraine off after they had their questions answered. "Now, I don't really know exactly where," she drawled, "But I think we may be underground. We have to travel upwards to get into the chamber they keep the prey in, yeah?" She paused, swishing her tail and watching the reunited pair for a few seconds before continuing, waving a large paw at the ceiling as she did so. "That is the only area where we get to see the sun and not these awful substitutes. If we are underground, the better question is how far, in my opinion. Rainy Didn't know what she would do without Azure, Rainy lived her more then anything in the world. Aside from her brother, but Rainy pushed that thought aside. Pain in her paws made Rainy fall to the ground. She hissed as a human walked in, spreading light across the cold stone flooring. Rainy winced and pushed her body against her sister's. Dride I Male I Wind/Temprature Changing I Mentions: None He growled as a human poked him with something sharp. Dride staggered, swiping feebly with his paw and letting out a sleepy snarl, before everything went black. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- He woke up in a small room. There was a leopard right next to him(Thalviraz). Dride sprang to his paws. Snarling, he lashed out at everything in sight, parting the other leopard's fur through the bars separating them. Dride was in a small room with white walls, metal tables, and strange, pointy materials on racks by the wall. His cage was on a table next to the strange leopard's. Suddenly there was a clang! and a human walked through the flappy moving thing into the room. Dride panicked, scratching the bars of his cage and accidentally bit his own tongue. He yowled with pain and confusion. Hearing the human male walk up to his cage, he shrank back, terrified and angry. The male human was holding a sharp tool with a handle that went up and down. He managed to prick Dride's forehead with it, then the human pushed down on the handle, inserting a liquid into Dride. Dride lashed out at the human's hand and drew blood. The human whacked him on the head! Startled, Dride jumped back, growling, but the human male quickly shut the cage once his hand was out. Draide laid down, still growling. Was it just him, or did his forehead just felt tingly? He pawed at his head, shaking it with confusion. Truth is, wind power had already entered his body and was being swept into his heart, so it was pumped along with his blood. Hetero I Male I Invisibility I Mentions: Sylvia The human female refilled his water, slapped him when he snarled, then left. The female leopardess(Sylvia) in the cage next to him just curled up and slept, but Hetero couldn't sleep. He paced slowly, refusing to show his fear to the other leopards. When the human came back, he let her put him to sleep, just so he could escape this weird place for a moment or two. Some time later, he was in a cage. The human inserted liquids into him, but he was too sleepy to care or protest, although he did show his teeth twice. When he was put back to sleep, he felt himself changing, but yet again, he was simply too desperate to care. Hetero just wanted to be free again, hunting zebra and gazelle on the open savannah. His light blinked out, and he dreamed of the taste of giraffe. --------------------------------------- When he awoke, the leopardess beside him was curled up again. She simply leaned back and let the paw swing by. Pinning her ears back in irritation and to keep them out of the way, she sat up fully. She licked a paw just to keep him waiting a bit. "My name is Sylvia. Thank you for disturbing my nap once again, as it appears I'm to be forbidden sleep in this place," she muttered, rolling her eyes. "I assume you were also captured by those creatures?" she rumbled in a surprisingly deep voice, pointing at one of the male humans that was filling water bowls on the other side of the room with one large paw. "I do not know why we are here. They keep us fed and watered, and allow us to hunt, but we cannot leave. Believe me, I tried once," Sylvia meowed. Shifting, she showed the leopard beside her a patch of burnt looking fur on her left shoulder. "They have this strange sort of barely-visible rock that keeps us from leaving the area in which we hunt in. It is very light colored. As you can see, it burns if you hit it at a high enough speed. The bars of a metallic cage pressed against the female's pelt, scratching her skin with the brusque and fastened movements that her body produced. The tembler intensified every minute that passed by as the only symptom of a striking fever. However, Wanheda's temperature was all the contrary to high; She was freezing, shrunken in a corner in failed attempts to provide herself some heat. She was too concentrated on her probable death as to pay attention to the voices that sounded vague and distant on her ears, though her eyes soon opened after at least an hour since her temperature dropped. 0 players like this post! But Rainy didn't need it, there was nothing to see in this hellhole anyway. Her vision turned to a dark shape (Hetro) pacing in the cell next to her. Curious as to who it was Rainy wandered over. Aozora Female | 4 Years | Shadow Manipulation Mentions: ALL- Jasper . Location: Cell Room. The eldest leopard lay in her cage on her side watching the younglings through the bars, she studied their looks of fear and their postures as they stalked in their cages evaluating their situations. She had only ever instructed Jasper when he first came, she had never felt that fear since she was born there and it tugged at her heart at the fleeting glances he once had. Now as she watched him struggle to control his elemental powers, she didn't see that same fear she once found. She also held a profound respect for him since he started teaching her the ways of a true leopard. How to hunt and fight normally. When the human had taken 15 (Dride) and 16 (Thalviraz) she had stood from her lazy state and watched carefully as the needle made its way into 15's body. Her lip curled over her sharp K9's remembering the numerous trips through that door before any others showed up. She had to deal with everything on her own until she was a couple months old. Her pelt shivered from the direction her thoughts have taken. Although she held no resentment for how she had grown up, she wished more than anything in the world that she could experience was Jasper had always described to her. The outside world. She looked at the others and looked back at Jasper "Just like old times huh?" she smirked and sat down wrapping her tail around her paws. She was watching 8 (Wanheda) and her eyes narrowed. The female was too dreary, too still, and too weak looking. "8" she called out to her "Look at me young one. How are you feeling?" she asked calmly. She normally would not talk to the new ones but it worried her more than anything. Maybe even more than when Astra was taken into the lab for her trials. Thalviraz Male | 2.2 Years | Elasticity Mentions:All- Dride . Location: The Room The young male awoke from his dreary state, realizing he had been taken into what the original Aozora called 'The Room' where they experiment on them. He remembered faintly talking with the old ones before he was taken back. He stirred and rose to his feet just in time to see another leopards clawed paw coming towards him. He leaped to the edge of his cage and snarled at the other leopard (Dride) and hissed, his tail lashing out aggressively and his body puffing out "Watch it you fool!" he yelled before the human started grabbing at the other leopard. Just remain calm and fall limp, let then do as they wish. They will do it anyway and its best not to make things difficult he heard Aozoras voice telling them faintly when they first came. He awaited his turn and once the human opened his cage, he did what Aozora told them and he laid on his side, limp. At first the human was confused but eventually, very cautiously, he started his work. 0 players like this post! Like? |
