Welcome to all new members! @Forest Since you use Corel, could you tell me if you like it? I've been thinking about getting it. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 10/04/18 @ 16:17:22 by Lumiere (#86771) |

Well, I've only used it one day before it just stopped working on my laptop. Customer support so far seems to kinda suck, but maybe they're backed up or something Keep in mind though I got it for free with my tablet so I don't know if it's Wacom's problem, Corel's, or mine. I can keep you posted if you want :) From what I used of it, it was really cool and if you like the painterly acrylic look I think you would like. The watercolor brushes weren't great, but I'm a snob when it comes to digital watercolor cause I think 99% of the brushes suck cause I'm so used to traditional watercolor. Most of the brushes that were built in seemed to mimic acrylic and oil paints more than anything with a whole brush section dedicated to different blenders which I love. I think once I actually get it working I'll be using it for all my coloring. I just need to get a reply since it's day two no help ;-; 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Forest Oooh, I see. I think I might hold off on now and just see ^^ But I do love some good blender brushes. I haven't really been able to do that with photoshop as of know, so.. Thanks for the info though! And if you could keep me posted, that would be great! 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Lumi I will! I have a problem with blending brushes I tend to overdo it with gradients honestly. What version of photoshop do you have? 0 players like this post! Like? |

The newest, I'm pretty sure (I'm really not that good with computers) - I've just recently transitioned to it from Medibang, which I still use, so I'm still learning my way around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have a super cheap version so I was just curious because my photoshop is pretty bad Is Medibang any good? I feel like I hear a lot of people use it? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like it a lot! There aren't as many brushes as Photoshop which is why I've transitioned a little. But it's a great value (I mean, it's free!) and very clean, so it's easy to learn how to use it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

That's why I like Firealpaca, free and clean! I still use it for any linework I do because I just love the layout of it so much. I might download Medibang too, just to add to my growing collection 0 players like this post! Like? |

ID Number: 41458 Are you a -- Learner, Mentor, Both?: Somewhat both? Traditional or Digital Artist?: Both, but more traditional recently. What things are you good at? (Leave blank if none): I dabble in a lot of things, but I really love to draw fantasy creatures. Dragons mostly, but I've been venturing out to other concepts and ideas. Very realistic style. What things do you want to improve? (Leave blank if none): Humanistic poses and anatomy alongside feline and canine anatomy.. Cartoon and chibi styles are things I wanna work on as well, What program/drawing tablet do you use? (Leave blank if traditional): Ibis Paint X for digital when applicable. What type of markers do you use, eg. Copics, Watercolour, pastelle, crayon (Leave blank if digital) I'm a multimedia artist. I like Prismacolor pencils, TouchFive Markers, Jellyroll pens, Ballpoint pens, Graphite, and basically any paint. Been wanting to get into Airbrushing and Spray paint art. Hoping to learn from other experienced artists and just appreciate others' work in general ^^ Edit: If accepted do I need to be active on the thread AND discord or is just the discord okay? Question of the day ^^´ 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 11/04/18 @ 18:09:27 by Hokzii (#41458) |
