Avi paused as she strolled through the alley, wistful. She hasn't been in this town for long, but she was already starting to miss her hometown of Toronto. She was on edge here, there's something that makes her uneasy and she isn't looking forward to finding out the source of that feeling. Avi paused slightly as she was about to turn the corner, glancing around it. It had become a habit over time, though it didn't help with her paranoia. The sight she saw when she peeked the corner wasn't one she was expecting to see though, a girl she has never seen before was tensed up, clearly ready to either fight or completely abscond from this situation. Avi slowly made eye contact with the girl and signaled for her to come over, you can call Avi paranoid all you want, but she isn't going to abandon a person in need.

Hazel was enjoying the moment until she heard a rustling behind her and two squirrels came out " crap" she said as her dogs pricked their ears and they both ran at the same time torwards it, she swiped their leashes and ran off. She was honestly a lazy person but she wasn't going to search all night for her dogs and find them hurt , she barely caught up to them as they came running straight for her . They knew that they were in trouble, she gave them a glare as she put them both on leashes and looked around. She sighed, she was going to go it for a walk anyways. As they continued forwards she saw something that looked like an alley, it looked pretty scary but for some reason something was urging her to go. She crossed the street and headed for it, it looked even worse walking through it than seeing it. She tensed up and saw that her dogs looked alert, she heard footsteps and heard someone talking. She ignored it and continued walking.

Avi relaxed slightly as the unfamiliar girl crept towards her, she wasn't a threat, at least, for now. Avi slowly walked backwards into the alley, letting it's shadows creep over her, she hasn't been here for long, but she has already mapped out some of the best hiding places in town. Avi smiled slightly at the strange girl to show that she's not hostile, and with one very strong burst of trust, Avi turned around, hearing noises that indicated someone was here. Her eyes sought out the source of the noise, and soon she had found the culprit, a young-ish girl with her two dogs. Avi sighed slightly in relief. "What are you guys doing here?" She whispered, keeping an eye on both of them.

Hazel flicked her light brown eyes up, she saw another lady. She quickly but cautiously walked over even though her dogs didn't want to go, she heard the question and tilted her head. " I actually have no idea" she said in a casual tone, even though she was scared herself she went on " why are you guys so scared of this place anyways?" She asked.

Avi glanced back at the girl with the keys, she seemed very on edge, in fact, she even seemed slightly creeped out by Avi. "Feel free to leave if I am causing you discomfort." Avi sighed, slouching. It wasn't uncommon that people didn't like to be around her, she's just sick of it. Turning her attention back to the girl with the dogs, Avi considered her question, it wasn't that this alley makes her unsettled, it was the entire town that puts her on edge. "Wouldn't know about her," Avi jerks her head to indicate the other girl, "but I like it here just fine, I don't take kindly to people when they sneak up on me though." Avi blows a wisp of hair out of her eyes and leans against the wall, glowering unintentionally.

Iris was walking in the stables cleaning up the stalls humming a tune as she did. "Alright that was the last stall, now i just needa bring tge horses in for the night." She said walking towards the holding corral, she walked towards the first horse a silver dapple mare that was heavily pregnant. "Alright Storm don't go havin that foal tonight, I just clean the stalls." She said patting the mare's back before closing the stall, she went back leading an old buckskin stallion followed by a young red roan stallion. "Alright boys don't be stressin Storm out, that means you Kero." She said rubbing the red roan's muzzle. "Keep an eye on him Jester, he is your son after all." She laughed as the old stallion nodded his head. She closed the gate and made her way back to her house taking off her boots before she had entered. The house smelt of cooked meat, tortillas, and chili (salsa). She sat down as her mother severed her meal, "Mama, I think storm is gonna have her foal soon." she said in spanish, since her mother didn't speak an inch of english.
