Emberwhisker opened her eyes, a beam of sunlight shining down on her pelt as a streak of dawn shot across the sky. Blinking lazily, she glanced about, half expecting the clan to be alseep and silent, but all of the cats were gathered around Runningtail for the morning patrols. "How odd." She murmured, rolling onto her belly and licking some mud from her paws.

Emberwhisker finished washing off her muddy paws with a disgusted grunt and rose to her feet with a wince at the newly earned wound from the dusk patrol. "Stupid FrostClan cats." She muttered, flexing her shoulder to make sure she could walk before padding it to the clearing. Spotting Birchfur, she hopped towards him with a large smile. "You look grumpy today!" She chirped, springing around him with a light laugh. Then, she raced away to the apprentices den to fetch Snowypaw, completely forgetting about the tom behind her as she stuck her head in the den and mewed to the apprentice.

Brindlebat, tom, long-haired grey tabby.

"Good morning clan, and all who inhabit it." Brindlebat said in a yawn as he snaked out of his small nest of grasses and stretched. Shaking some dew off his long fur, he puffed up considerably and made his way into the middle of camp. Not many seemed to be up yet for dawn patrol. Brindlebat snuck up behind Birchfur and swept his long poofy tail across the tom's shoulders, just to possibly get a response. Then the tom waited eagerly for Emberwhisker to return from checking on Snowypaw. He was ready to go. He had to run off some excess energy.

Snowypaw had been staring off into the dawn absently, and the sudden form of her mentor made her large eyes grow wider and her fur puff up a bit. "GOOd morning, Emberwhisker." She mewed, her voice going from a shrill surprise to her regular gentle voice. The apprentice got up and made her way to the entrence almost silently. "Is the patrol starting? Im ready to go."

The senior leader raised from his haunches, feeling his bones "crack" as he stretched to begin his daily routine as a leader; check everything's okay. Lead the clan. He quietly walked towards the entrance and sat, yawning. It was not so long ago since his mate, Snowyfoot, had died. It looked almost intentional that a queen had decided to name their kit Snowykit, who was now Snowypaw. Giving the she-cat her warrior name would be indeed hard, as many memories would rush down his mind.
Upon realizing, he saw Snowypaw getting ready to go on a patrol, with her mentor Emberwhisker. At the same time, Brindlebat was getting ready for the patrol...
Was all the clan getting ready for the dawn patrol orr...???
No, definitely not. There were quite the cats that decided to relax and move their activities for later, like Ravenshadow or Birchfur.
Moving to another thought, Ferretstar quickly moved towards the exit of his den. He shook off the dust off his short pelt, and just right after that, dust particles fell down off his fur. His green apple hued eyes patrolled the camp's perimeter, searching suspicious activity. Nothing seemed to be strange that day, luckily. He curled his tail around his legs, as a smile unintentionally aroused by his maw. The ambient was humid, something he quite disliked, but it was better than a dry ambient, of course.

Ravenshadow flinched at Birchfur's batting, drawing away from him with a frown. "Just because I have to deal with today doesn't mean I have to fully." The dark she-cat rolled her eyes at the other's humorous purr and pulled herself up into a sitting position reluctantly. "Happy now? I'm still not moving." Ravenshadow blinked a bit more, trying to wake herself fully. Her mind was slowly becoming alert but her body still felt heavy.

" why don't you come hunting with me" he said as he gave a long stretch. He soon felt up and ready, he had felt bad for getting upset with Emberwhisker but he would apologize later.

Runningtail yawned, his teeth gleaming in the faint sunlight that cracked through the clouds, then blinked in annoyance at the amount of cats awake. Spotting Ferretstar through the crowd, he slipped through the SapClan cats until the leader was towering over him. Runningtail dipped his head politely and began to speak. "I will send out he patrols in a moment, may I lead one around the Swamplands? We never know how far the floods will reach, it rained hard last night." He mewed, speaking dutifully with a quick glance around the soaked clearing. Runningtail shuffled his paws and glanced around, awaiting his leader's reply

Snorting in response, Ravenshadow felt her lip draw back to reveal some of her sharp teeth. She stood finally and stretched lazily, eyeing him as she did. "Fine, but just because you seem so annoying I doubt you'd leave me alone even if I said no." She wasn't usually this snarky, but the tom's amusement combined with her tiredness led to her speaking out of the norm. Her expression faded out of its harsh look and into a more placid one as she started padding out of camp. "Try to keep up, Birchfur," she meowed over her shoulder in a testing manner.

Birchfur gave a yawn as he trotted after her, his sleek coat showing his structure under all of his pelt. Birchfur had long and slender legs and a nice spotted pelt, his ears were curved as well. The tom soon caught up to her and was walking beside the she-cat, " i don't know if I'll catch up at this pace" he said ironically as he opened his mouth and tasted the air for prey.

"Yes, I doubt you'll ever manage to keep up." Ravenshadow rolled her eyes, though smiled faintly over at the younger cat- a smile most wouldn't be able to notice. She enjoyed his taste in sarcasm and was glad to be out on a hunt. It was one of the few things she enjoyed doing, and though she preferred doing it alone, hunting was still hunting and Birchfur was one of the more bearable SapClanners, in her opinion. Ravenshadow's mouth partially opened as well. Her tail swished behind her as she picked up a bird.
