Getting Started in Stats

Introduction

Welcome! I'm glad you are interested in getting into stats, it can be a lot of fun! It can also be financially rewarding! The purpose of this guide is to hopefully set it all out, up front-so you will have all the information you need to maximize your potential right off the bat!

Choosing which lions to train

To start, you will want to choose one male lion and 5 female lions to train. Your best bet is to start with all cubs. Get the highest stat cubs you can afford. The male will be your heir or stat replacer, and the other 5 will be your hunt team of lionesses. Your highest stat overall should be the one you choose as your heir.

Step One: Cub Training

From the age of 5 months until one year, you will be able to take your brood to cub training class once per day. Cub training is located on the main explore map, right under the quest snake. Here is the link. Cub training is VERY important! When your lions mature, they have a chance at gaining a large amount of stats, as many as 100+ (Usually 50-80 stats if the 5-11 month portion goes well), if they get at least 75% cub training (aim for 100%). You can cub train an unlimited amount of cubs per day. Try to do it every day, as this portion of cub training has the most impact of how many stats the cub gains upon completion. The type of training will impact which stats see the most gains.

Stage 2 of Cub Training: Adolescent Training

Okay, so your cubs are now one year old, and ready to move on to the second stage of cub training! Males will be able to tag along with an adult male for patrols (up to one at a time), and females will be able to tag along on hunts (up to 2 at time) Hopefully after the first part of cub training, your cubs training progress bar will be about 20-35%. You can view your cubs training progress bar on their page, right under their stats/currents boxes (towards the middle)

This part can be a bit trickier, and takes some dedication! Each trip out will only gain the young lion 1 or 2% training, so they will have to go out many times! If the cub does not make it to 75% training they will fail, and get no stats.

Try to get in as many hunts and patrols as possible. Setting a timer will help you remember! There are many free timers available for both pc and phones, feel free to ask me for help if you cannot find one to use.

Step 2: Feed and Play for Maximum Gains

Here is a good guide that lists all food/toys that give stats

I am going to break this down a bit, to help you choose what you want to use.

My recommendations- Food-Turtle Eggs 2 uses; 20% hunger, 60% chance of 1 stat Estimated Price: 100-300sb Availability: Year Round (You can find these in the shrubland, african wild dog encounter, evil karma)

Toy-Dry Palm Leaves: 5 uses, 20% Mood, Estimated 20% chance of 2 stats, 50% chance of 1 stat, 30% chance of no stats. Estimated Price: 100sb-900sb depending on availability. Availability: World Drop in December

Try to get these items for your heir and hunt team every day. Dry Palm leaves drop and are cheap in December, so STOCK UP!

If you cannot find these items, alternatives:

Food-Small Turtle - 1 use; 10% hunger, 30% chance of 1 stat (World drop) Estimated Price-20-80sb
Juicy Lizard - 1 use; 10% hunger, 30% chance of 1 stat (World drop/Slots)
Estimated Price-20-100sb

Toys- Kudu Horn - 3 uses; x% chance of up to 2 stats (February Event, May Arena Prize)

Step 3: Male Training

Woot! Hopefully your cubs reached adulthood with 100% training, and got some nice bonuses! They are now 2 years old, and ready to start earning their keep! For your male, this means patrolling!

A good patroller will send their male out at least 10 times per day. An excellent one will send them out 15+.

You can send your male out once per hour. The patrolling page is located on the main explore map, on the bottom, right next to where you go to explore with your current king.

Pick 10 squares each time. According to This news post, the more squares you choose, the greater your chance of stats.

Set a timer to help you remember.

I recommend patrolling your male his entire lifetime. This means 2 years until 14 years 11 months. (They can die at 15 so king them when they are 14.11!) This way, you get the most stats possible.

Step 3, Part 2: Female Training

Every 30 minutes, you can send your team of up to 5 lionesses hunting. For every hunt, you will get 1-2 food items, and each lioness will gain exp and 1-2 stats. Again, I recommend setting a timer. Square placement does not seem to matter.

Breeding - You can breed your females every 20 days. My advise is to go with the highest stat stud you can afford. You can find the highest stat studs on the leaderboards, located on the main explore map.

What stat cubs should I expect? You can roughly calculate the stats of your cubs by adding moms stats + dads stats and then multiplying the result by .12

There are 2 items that will slightly increase the stats of cubs. These can be fed to the father prior to the breeding. They are shamanic stew and roasted vulture. The stew will increase the offsprings strength by 5% and the vulture will increase the speed by 5%.

Step 4: Kinging your Heir

Yesss! Your male has survived patrolling, and is now ready to become your king! There are several things you want to be sure to do daily in order to keep gaining stats.

1. Feed your king a stat food like turtle eggs right away, before you explore, because it might make your hunger bar fill up.

2. Play Baoball (located in the Games section) Link to Baoball

3. Spar with your sub. This is located at the bottom of your den page. It takes 20% energy, but you can gain experience, impression, or stats.

4. Remember to improve your impression every time the bar reaches 100%. After you become a dreamboat, you will gain 1-2 stats for every improvement.

Step 4, Part 2: Leveling

Every time you level your king, he will gain 2x the level in stats, so you will want to level up as much as possible. Right off the bat, it is smartest to use experience items like broken drones, UAVs, and giant tortoises. These are worth using for up to your first 20 levels. I would advise to give your lion all the experience items you are going to use right off the bat, then use up your energy after. Until battles start earning you 200+ experience, attack for exp as much as you are allowed. You can attack people for exp from the main explore map, where it says territory, right next to patrolling.

Remember to use up all of the free energy refill you get with each level before leveling up again!

Extra energy-Choose Hyperactive personality for 30% extra energy every day

Use a bone marrow from the monkey shop. you can use one per day and it gives 20% energy for 80 sb.
