I personally feel the blocks speed is just perfect, but I support the idea of timer stopping when blocks are aligning if their drop speed is going to be slowed. You cant move other blocks while some are aligning themselves so if the fall speed was lowered, it'd greatly increase the difficulty of the game, leaving you with less time to do the actual shifts while you wait for the aligning to stop. It's quite hard to get high scores as it is, I dont feel it needs to get any harder.

It looks like some more changes were made?

I really love the way you move blocks now. I'm not experiencing the click/drag issue at all anymore :)

The +# showing up on the screen as you get points is cool. However to me they seem a bit big? They distract me quite a bit and make it hard to see what move I want to make next. Maybe if the numbers were a bit smaller/slightly translucent? Just an idea!

Same as Detective, there seems to be no delay when dragging blocks :) Really nice!

I'm hoping for some combo bonuses in the future. Other than that, the game is fantastic.

I love, love the new beta one! It is so much easier to slide them around, and more enjoyable. The added bonus for more than three is purrfect as well! Can't wait.

So... not sure how this happened:

After a couple of tiles aligned, they didn't fall properly. I'm not sure where I should post it, so here it goes. Update: I was capable of moving the empty tiles as any other, and were filled properly once I managed to align tiles under them.

Please tell me where I should post this bug if this isn't the place.

I've made quite a few updates to the beta version!

It has the scoring system in place now, though it will not actually award you any items on the Beta version. And for the Beta version you have unlimited sends on your scores (again, you won't actually receive any prizes).

I've tried to address a lot of the feedback from this thread and alleviate a lot of the issues. There are still a couple of minor graphical issues that crop up every so often (mostly related to tiles not disappearing immediately at the end of a game, or the occasional tile that refuses to slide down fully).

Okay I've noticed a new problem today.

If you try to swap some tiles as another tile is falling, the tiles will swap places whether they make a match or not.

Like, if you mis-click and swap two that aren't making a row of three sometimes they'll stick in the non-original positions instead of switching back like they're supposed to.

Does that make sense? I'll try to explain better if not.

That happened to me today, while I was trying to see what made the tiles suddenly leave an empty space as if it were filled; if you swap the tiles as they are arranging themselves - regardless of if they match two of their neighboring tiles or not - it will swap anyway, and it can lead to the empty tiles thing.

Also, there are times when there are tiles that "hide" behind other tiles, and they play peek-a-boo when the tiles over them fall. It happened only in the upper rows, but I'm not sure if it can happen in the lower levels or not.

It seems to take a long time when the game starts to fill up the time bar?

Like, it is still filling up as I start moving blocks, and if I move blocks it doesn't fill up all the way and instead starts counting down from that partially-filled point.

EDIT;;
I played several games! One filled up normally, two games it filled up maybe 2/3rds of the way, and then another it filled up 3/4 of the way.

Maybe it is related to some kind of lag? I play on updated Firefox.

It seems to happen after you finish a game and click New Game. The time has to reload and doesn't do it all the way.
The rate the time counts down also seems to be WAY faster after you hit New Game?

I played my first two games fine but all games afterwords didn't fill up all the way and then the bar drained within just a few seconds. I play on Firefox.

I play on Chrome, and the bar is too slow to fill when I begin to play and too quick to empty now, or so it seems to me.

Should be fixed now, thanks! It was related to an earlier bug with the timer not starting again properly after hitting "Restart".
