Art theft is breaking lioden rules and it's illegal! Don't do it.
Please, take a look at page 1! It contains more information ^-^

Okay so I'm planning to create an rp/adoptable thread/s.
The idea is to join this rp is that you need to own at least one of these adoptable characters.
The rp will be based in an alien world, similar to earth. There will be various creatures, predator, prey etc. Most will be created along the way.

Buying Characters
Characters will be priced on rarity, complexity and hierarchy.

The prey characters will be cheapest to buy as they can die the easiest. The higher up the animal/creature, the higher the price it will be to buy the character.
They will be designed in pixel art as they're easier to animate.

Buying a character will buy the pixel base image/neutral pose with blinking. You can pay for additional poses/animations! It will also buy you the space for the rp until your character dies. Characters above a certain price will be "immortal" This does not mean they can go around killing everything and winning every battle, but it means they can't die without the owners choice to do so, they can still loose in battle/ be seriously injured however (just not be killed). Immortal characters also receive more detailed art, or a reference sheet as well as the pixel, depending how much is spent on them, look at page 1 for an example.

Character Death
If your character does die, you can still use the art as long as you credit the artist, but you must buy a new character to join into the rp again. It is an ever changing environment, world, friendships can grow and fall at the drop of a coin, play smart or face death. You can buy "Immortal" characters too however.
marker_by_xxxdruidxxx-daxnct2.pngCharacters
NPC's
These are purely created so the world doesn't seem empty, they cannot be killed, befriended or interacted with directly as you cannot roleplay as them. Only I and people I have allowed may use these characters as a one off thing, to either kickstart the rp or mould an event. You can however attempt to hunt them, but never actually come into contact.
e.g I stalked the small creature it's bright coat signalling me to chase it and so I did. I almost got close enough to leap when it ran into a burrow.
The Doomed
These characters only have a lifespan of 3 rp posts, after that they can die (If there's a hunt/chase then they can last longer, but they must allow the chaser to catch/eliminate them), or 1 day if the person refuses to post. They are often very cheap to buy, the don't have much art just pixel art.
The main purpose of these characters are for food! Even immortals need to eat to thrive, other mortals need to eat to survive. You may even buy them so your own character can eat. The larger the prey, the better the hunger replenishment.
The Dauntless
They're more expensive than the doomed, but not as expensive as immortals. These characters CAN die! But they're not a source of food specifically. These characters aren't for the light-hearted so please do not buy them if you will turn sour due to them dying! If their hunger/thirst reaches 0%, they get seriously injured/infected or something similar they will die. You must be very conscious when playing these characters, pick your allies wisely, train and hunt well, but do not exhaust yourself or you'll face death. These characters are often carnivores/omnivores and are mid-way to high up on the food-chain, but not limited to.
The Death Dancers
These characters CAN die! They're often more expensive than The Dauntless and are very similar! But they have 3 chances at life, after a third death they are however eliminated!
Immortals
Okay the name's a lie, they can die XD BUT, only if you choose so. Loosing hunger, thirst etc does not kill them! However, this doesn't mean they can go around killing everything and be all high and mighty. They are just as strong as the average guy/gal, but instead of death they must flee or pass out. These are generally the most expensive characters to buy! They do however come with better art or a ref sheet too
Hunger, thirst, exhaustion etc do effect their performance though. See them as a normal being, the only difference is they do not die, "immortality" has nothing to do with how they preform!
marker_by_xxxdruidxxx-daxnct2.pngWhat I'm looking for
I'm looking for someone who would help me with this! Keeping the threads up to date as I won't be available all the time and it will be a fair amount of work to do it alone. Also helping to design the world and characters etc ~ You get half the profit for every character you make! I get the other half ^-^

I am not looking for just one person, but multiple! You must be a decent rp/literate. Can create pixel art and animate somewhat!

Payment will work like this.
Anything you make will 50% share the profit between me and whoever made it. Including recolours!
You can't go around selling things as you please though, it has to be okayed by me and to do with this forum!
Nothing is being sold yet though ^-^ It's still in the idea stage

Druid, the ref sheets look great!!

I`m not sure how different you want characters to be, but maybe you could include "typical" marking patterns?
Like, the male in your example has black socks, chin strap, and ear tips? And then a white muzzle, but I wouldn`t know what to call the chest marking.... But anyways, you could list other markings patterns that the species has, if applicable.

But if you are designing all the characters, that may be unnecessary.

Thank you!

Good idea, with the crowned daywalkers they'll probably all look very similar, just minor variation.

Others can design new species too :D But they'll have to accepted and what not :P

I've started designing the next species! The one drawn is a female, her feathers are to keep her young warm.

That`s neat! I started whipping up an animal too! I figure if you wanted to start a little mini rp with the rabbit-like creatures, maybe a low level predator should be tossed in to! Like I said, I`m a wildlife and fisheries major, and one big topic we study is Vertebrate Natural History (so, evolutionary avenues- how we got to the animals we have today). And there were once hooved predators, and I just think they were so freaking cool. They were all either kinda dainty, or build like a hippo. I kinda wanted to design a tank of a creature, but wasn`t getting anywhere, so I went dainty instead!
http://sta.sh/01d5ingu14m7

So, think something with a gazelle or deer-like torso, but the face of a small predator. In my head, I was going for a several-like face, but I think it came out more foxxy than anything :p

I`ll explain it a little bit.
Obviously, predators with hooves went extinct- we don`t have any left. It was largely because there were outcompeted by predators that have paws. As you can imagine, it`s easier to hunt when you have paws-claws to grasp things. Also, a lot of these guys weren`t particularly strong. So I figure, this can be a low-level predator. Larger and stronger ones could take it out, but they stand a chance to survive because those long legs make them swift an agile.
Since they are not top of the food chain, I think they chould be counter-shaded (a type of camoflouge-- technically called Thayer`s Law), so they can hide from larger predators. I think this should most strongly apply to the young. Also, under the tail should be white, or at least significantly lighter than the surrounding fur. This is for a behavioral trait called "flagging" that is exhibited among many deer, gazelles, and antelopes. I figure since it has that body type and can fall prey to other animals, it should display the flagging behavior as well. The black point marks can be optional- they serve no real purpose.

Sorry that was really long- I just wanted to thoroughly explain my idea.

It is really messy, but I have a class tonight and I just wanted to get it posted before I left for class (I may not be done until very late). If you like the concept, I will clean it up, fix the legs&hooves (they look awful!) and try out some spreite poses! Let me know what you think

I really like this idea!
I imagine it being about twice the size of a fox and it would hunt the rabbit things!
