I just ran into the problem of having a male lion that was raised from an adolescent to an adult that is way handsomer than Cloud Merc Man, my current king, the issue is the current king is well 3 years old.. too young to retire...
So since a lot of people hate waiting around for months to retire a king or for the king to keel over, there is not much one can do right? Well currently no but if we take a note from biology and the lion king there is an answer to this issue that is staring the community right in the face that may offer up more EXP for sub males than patrolling and might very well shake up the gameplay for the better if implemented properly, and that answer is the dethronement option!

Yes, you heard it right... Dethronement: a chance for any of your sub lions to give the current king the boot scar style in front of his family or at the very least get knocked down a peg and become a new sub lion in the most humiliating fashion in a battle royale.
Though like most game features there should be some requirements to keep the difficulty level and play ability the status quo, so here are some suggestions on the requirements to get this possible feature activated:
1. The king in question must have at least 1 or more sub males in his pride that are adult.
2. The king in question must have at least one or more of the following:
a. an average for their impression level
b.low karma
c. at least 1 lion killed by the current kings hand
d. at least 1 lioness who is nursing a cub chased off or killed.
e. 3 or more of the current king's subjects low in hunger or mood, one of which must be a
sub male.
f. at least 1 cub death due to neglect or lack of protection.
g. one or more of the sub males and lionesses being evil if the king's nature isn't evil, and
if the king's nature is evil one or more sub males and lionesses that are good as well as
any of the above.
h. or if none of the above are possible you can "Pay" an outside force to hypnotize
your sub males into attempting to dethrone the king once a day... Perhapsss a sssnake?
3. The player in question who is in charge of the king and his subjects must have been playing for atleast a month so that way there is no accidental triggering of this mechanic, also players who are eligible to utilize this feature must have accepted to turn it on probably via a check box or a button sort of like the secure lion option on lionesses, cubs, and sub males.
4. The king must have a significant amount of energy to participate since it wouldn't be a fair fight.

For the dethronement battle in questions mechanics I propose 2 options:
Option 1: Basically, the dethronement battle could have a GUI similar to that of the current enemy battle GUI and should run the same way but instead of controlling your king you control the sub male you want to take over. Stats differences do play a role just like in a wild battle, so if the sub male is weaker than the king the fight will be harder, and since you can't use rabbits feet but instead might have to pay a fee or buy a special item from the oasis in order to insta-win it would be advised to pick another sub male or trade your current sub male with a friend for something that will outdo your king if you lack the funds for this. This could take time for the people who are in charge of Lioden to develop! Unless I take up learning html and/or java after I am done with my c++ related classes to help speed up the process. Option 2: This option is the fastest to implement but is the least interactive method of implementing and that is ..... Just for the staff to go about implementing it like how they did with the sparing only the oasis item or fee and stats determining the success of the sub lion being thrown in.

Though as for the consequences of the sub male being victorious or not victorious, if this suggestion is taken into consideration I would rather leave up to the Lioden staff to deliberate on and maybe create a poll for, I don't know how to make a poll on here since I just started playing a few weeks ago and I feel they would be better at balancing or tweaking this concept since they have more experience with game design than I. Anyway sorry for being long winded I am just so passionate about this since I got such positive feedback from even hinting at wanting this to be a thing, and I really want to see this happen, I want Hyro and abbbbk() to have the beautiful babies the stone shown me so badly, and also Hyro to become King soonish.
