I think the Arena in the May event needs a serious adjustment. I noticed, that in every tier, there are basically always the exact same winners. Every single time. The highest statted lion in every tier will win, no matter the amount of tickets you put in.

This is kind of disheartening.

I own a lion who is around the middle range of the tier on my side account, who keeps losing, despite huge amount of lions competing -with 50% lower statted than him. But even with 10 tickets/hour... he just doesnt win. This is nonsense. In this case, you know to not waste your tickets and instead use only 1 ticket each time, since you will only win 5 MBs anyway, making the entire arena one big monotonous disappointing feature. Why are we even able to put in more tickets if it clearly does NOT increase our winning chances. Sure, there is some random luck there but... it isnt enough to make it exciting. And now with the quests... it is only frustrating.


I suggest...

Individual Scores
- Which means, for every ticket, you fight a different lion from the tier, and your wins/losses will be counted together for the end result -



Example:
I put in 5 tickets and have 5 fights with 5 random lions. I lose 3 fights but win 2, I will lose this hour.
I put in 3 tickets and win 2 fights but lose 1, I will be a winner for the hour.
I put in 2 tickets, I lose 1 and win 1, I would fight an extra time to determine the result (or win a price of 7MBs -basically 50% of winning price)

This way,there would be more winners, more excitement, more people could complete the quests and the scores would not be so terribly one-sided.

I'm looking forward to May and terrified at the same time.
One grub from explore can screw you over for entire event. Please change the way it works.
Or change shop's currency.

I'm not looking forward the May event at all, it will totally suck if the team doesn't address this issue :')
But we'll have cute V'kai at least.

I like this idea. This would be much more in line with the result that tells you "unfortunately you had a very low winning streak", as well. As it is now, that phrasing is inaccurate. Theoretically, if one lion in a tier wins the championship every hour, there were still second and third place lions that won most of their matchups. In any game, going 5-1 is not the same as going 0-6 but the event still treats it that way.

I would have rather had May made to the Snakes event and the Rain Event stay in June with PVP being something thats all year around granting its own currency like the Gorilla Enclave.

But since they made the rain event an all year thing, and the Snake event usurped the June rain event, we are still sitting on May being the worst and most unfun event.

My concept:

June: Rain Event.
May: Snake Event

PVP grants the same rewards as the Arena Event, all year.

OR...

PVP grants the same rewards as the Arena Event, all year.
May gets a shiny new event.
