Ignore the mane because obviously it will be a different color but this is my base idea! I understand it's a green base but it could be a nice base to have considering it is lighter and not too intensive.

My argument for adding green bases:

I say why can't we have green bases considering we already have unnatural colors on our lions already? We got blue, red, bright pink/maroon. We also literally have pink lions. I say why not give green bases a try.

I know we already have fairly unnatural bases, but this would require adding in a whole new category of base colors, right? Personally I already find how many bases there are a little overwhelming, so this would be a bit much for me.
Plus, I don't know how popular it would be, and it would be quite a bit of work for a lukewarm reception. Your work here is wonderful, so I definitely wouldn't be upset if it happened, but I don't think I'll actively support it.

Actually green is listed as a black shade so no it would not have it's own category. I personally am trying to reach out to more ideas for green bases, not saying we should add like cucumber and green apple but dragonfly, Lichen and Olive would more than likely make the cut if we did have green bases.

Oh. As someone who's a huge fan of black bases that would be... annoying, I guess. The marks I breed wouldn't look good on them. Considering that the one green base we have now was a joke, I think it would actually be a really good idea to add another category for green if they were properly added. I just don't think they're close enough to the grey-scale to be black bases. It'd be kind of like having a golden base with the creams, in my eyes. Plus, it would help with the breeding quite a bit.

Maybe, but it could be they are spread out a upon multiple categories?

Realistically, what category could they go into? They certainly aren't red, cream, or gold. I think a separate category would be a good thing, personally. It would make it easier to avoid, for those who aren't such fans, and easier to breed for those who are. Plus, like I already said, they just don't fit well anywhere else.

I think they work more towards the cream and black categories, considering the color combinations.

support!! dragonfly is my favorite- its not too intense or stands out a whole lot.

I agree, we already have a wide variety of colors as bases, most of which are definitely not found naturally, so the argument that green bases should not be implemented because of them looking 'unnatural' makes NO sense to me whatsoever..

if pink, blue, and purple bases exist, why not green bases?

I'm all for green bases, but I do think that these are too far from any of the current base groups. If they had more cream/golden tones to them then I could see them being put into those sections. As for Dragonfly, I can definitely see that being a black base, since it's similar to Ice, it would work.

They could probably have their own category. I am not saying though they gotta do it all right away, but ease into it with simpler green bases then into complex green bases.

I agree. I love Olive as well. If Olive had some tweaking done to make it have some golden undertones while keeping it green, I think it'd be a lovely special golden base.
