I think it would be cool to have a full human carcass as one of the preys your lionesses can get from hunting.
I mean there is probably a good reason why you can only get a human leg, but lions does hunt and eat entire humans sometimes in real life. Of course its very very rare, but it did happened

I think the rarity of this prey should be rare, and the number of portions should be 3 or 4. Of course it can be less or more for both, but I think theses numbers make sense. I also sees it being only found in the village and the waterhole. But again, the locations can be different. It depends of the moderators choiche (if this get approved)
I think they should also make one variant for every race so no one could complain about this.

If you don't support id like to know why.

Edit: Im gonna add some of the suggestions people have made and explain why they came out with theses:

The carcass should have rotting gray-skin: to avoid racism complains
The carcass should be a event-only item: Because if its, for exemple, an option to kill the tourists in the january event, the carcass would match the encounter (they are white) and because the carcass would be rather pointless to have in the game otherwise.
Instead of a full carcass, it should instead be other body parts than just the leg: Because some people might be shocked to see a full mauled human body.

Thanks you for your suggestions!! I admit I didn't really think of the usefullness of this item when writing this topic... but now that I think about, that would make sense that this get rejected for this reason. Though Im still gonna leave this topic here just in case.

This suggestion has 175 supports and 105 NO supports.

I'm neutral, so not pledging support one way or the other.

I see no harm in other body parts, such as an arm or torso. I could see this working for months when hunger is an issue, which would force a lion into nearby towns or tribes. And, honestly, if we did add this I have a feeling the carcass or parts would be white. Why? Because the human leg we have now is white. Well, tan, but white nonetheless. I honestly don't see why race has to be brought into this like it's some big deal? It's a game where we play as lions. Lions don't care about race. They care about food, regardless of the source at times. Big animal, sick animal, baby animal, and sometimes humans, they don't care. Food is food.

It's a lion game, yeah. But the game is run by... y'know... people? Just because it's a game where we play as lions that doesn't mean we forgo our humanity. It's important to be conscious of real-world elements because the player base isn't made up of lions, it's made up of people with different backgrounds and races and experiences.

Even if we were to disregard race, trading and selling humans (even pixel corpses on a lion sim game) is a bit questionable. But disregarding the racial element to that is a serious lack of awareness.

It's not forgoing humanity, though. Our lions hunt tons of endangered prey (sable antelope is critically endangered, as well as the addax), but you don't see us claiming the owners of the site are advocating we hunt them in real life or support the actions of killing them. And the suggestion isn't even to add tons of different human races, it's just to add other elements to match the human leg you can get.

I'm not ignoring the racial aspect, but I would appreciate if you wouldn't suggest a lack of awareness :> I'm only saying that it's not that big of a deal here because it's not even the suggestion.

How about for the image, it's just the image of a human skull over some slabs of torn meat?

Or alternately, it could be a hat (like a tourism hat, or a safari hat or a hunting cap) over slabs of torn meat?

No need to show a full body. (:

I like the idea!

I support this 100%... Although some people may find this racist, in my opinion, it's not... Just because the skin color is darker doesn't mean anything, white and darker colored people die from lions every day. There are such things as tourists that die also. I don't see how getting darker colored skins as food is racist. It's natural. There are plenty of games with brown colored people as creators, in which white people die in too. But it's not racist cause they're white people. But that's just my opinion.

What if a human carcass was covered with the human's tattered clothes? So there's no worries about race or goriness? and the only bit of skin that you did see could be fully covered with blood so that there's no particular colour?

there is no need for a full human carcass to be in the game. there are plenty of food items as it is, and it would freak out a whole lot of people to have a full human carcass your lions can eat in the game. theres no point in adding an item that a lot of people would hate or feel freaked out about just for the shock value

Maybe it could come from that October Event Encounter in Explore where your King wanders into a graveyard and has a chance to find dead-people-related items? Also, I think it would be a stat-boosting food with a chance of giving up to 4 stats total (max 2 in Smarts and 2 in Stamina).

I don't know why, but I'm morbidly amused by the idea of a lion sneaking into a graveyard at night and just straight-up stealing a dead guy.

i dont think anyone cares about the human leg being tan, so i dont see the issue with a same coloured ambiguous tan human. it barely needs to show anyway, some carcasses have no gore and their back faces us, it could be a human lyin on their tummy and their skin all covered up. i think this is cool B) maybe even a mut item, or a diff human part could be a breeding item.. since we're filled with disgusting chemicals

No support because it's disgusting. I am impressed that people managed to turn this into racism.

No support, it is overly uncomfortable and potentially disturbing. And unlike events, i imagine it would be harder for folks to blacklist the image of just that one food item. A human leg is a funny item because its detached from the reality of the mauling, the same as a dancing cartoon zombie would not be as macabre or upsetting as a fully realistic rotting zombie. A full-on edible corpse would be a bit much in my opinion, no matter how its dressed up.

I would support maybe a hand or human rib or something, but i don't see why we need or would want a full cadaver in a usually-whimsical lion game where most violence depicted is to highlight animal conservation or welfare in thr light of the modern world. (And even then, the wiki itself had a guide for turning images off during events like poaching and drought, and anyone may opt out any time). All this would highlight is the idea that people do indeed get eaten by big cats sometimes, which is not an awareness stance that helps anyone who isn't actively in danger of that situation.

TLDR; the more shocking images on lioden are always optional for users to the extent that staff is able to do so via opting out of events or using add-ons for your desktop browser. Adding a human body as a prey item would be something users cannot reliably avoid if it drops from hunting, and would still be questionable even as an event only drop.

No support, I'm sorry. Regardless of skin color, it just sounds disturbing and leaves a bad taste, I'm sure a lot of people would be uncomfortable with it, alongside me. I know there are human legs and poachers we could fight in explore, but I'm not really a fan of these aspects either, to be honest

No thank you....I really don't want to see a dead human body in this game. I agree with versidue.

If this was added maybe have it disabled by default and have the option to turn it on if you want to avoid controverstiy
