Somewhat pay-to-win guide on how to breed mutations with the best possible chances. INGREDIENTS: Desired female - hopefully with a low fertility, decent stats, markings, etc. Lower Fertility increases mutation chance. Preferably Ferus if breeding for Primal (Ferus). Undesired male - (trust me) with not so nice stats, markings, etc. Desired male - also hopefully with decent stats, markings, etc. Preferably primal if breeding for primal, and preferably Ferus if breeding for Primal (Ferus). -- Two Ferus parents increase Ferus chances via Pennyroyal Zebra Heart - Optional Energy Boosts - Optional Cotton Root Bark Buffalo Scrotum or Grain of Paradise Pennyroyal - Optional unless breeding Primal GMO Cow Lion Scrotum - Do not use if breeding Primal or Hybrids Lion Meat Ochre Saltlick - Optional Ochre Gnawrock - Optional Instant Cub Delivery - Optional Optional: Step 0: Induce your desired female's heat by giving a Zebra Heart. Only if you are impatient. Step 1:Breed desired female to the undesired male. Breed your desired female with a king that doesn't have good stats/markings because this litter will be destroyed via the next step. Step 2:Give the desired female a Cotton Root Bark once she becomes pregnant. This item will induce a miscarriage, ultimately losing the crappy king's litter. After the miscarriage, mutation chance will be increased as well as the lethality. Step 3:Give the desired male a Buffalo Scrotum or Grain of Paradise. Give your desired male (Primal male if you want primal cubs; Primal is passed paternally- through the male.) a Buffalo Scrotum or Grain of Paradise to increase litter size, overall increasing your odds of having at least a singular cub with a mutation. Buffalo Scrotum = 3+ cubs, Grain of Paradise = 2+ cubs. (Max litter: 4 cubs) IF BREEDING FOR PRIMAL -- Step 4.1:Give your desired Primal male a Pennyroyal To increase chances of variations of the Primal mutation, give the desired Primal male a Pennyroyal. If both parents are Primal (Ferus), then this will further increase the chance of Ferus cubs. Smilus and Felis pass the same was as regular primals, they do not have an increased chance of producing their variation. IF BREEDING FOR ANY MUTATION -- Step 4.2:Give your desired female a GMO cow OR Lion Scrotum All 3 of these items are in the same "gene slot" when breeding so pick your item accordingly. GMO Cows help with the chance for a mutation BESIDES primal. GMO cows don't help primals pass that easily, because Primal is exclusively hereditary. GMO cows choose random mutations. The GMO cow rolls it's mutation before the primal "gene" does. Lion Scrotums increase your chances of passing on your desired female's mutation onto her cubs by 25%. Does NOT work for Primal and Hybrids. Lion Meat increases chances of a mutation occurring. Increases mutation chances much more than a 1% fertility, but less than a GMO cow. Optional: Step 5:Give your female/male an Ochre Saltlick and/or Ochre Gnawrock Again, not required. This just ensures that a marking is inherited to all the cubs (gnawrock), and ensures the mane shape and mane base pass to all the cubs (saltlick)! Pretty kitties <3 Step 6:Finally, breed your desired female to the steroid-packed male. If everything went according to plan, you should end up with at least 1 mutated cub! Mutations can be difficult but this should help your chances immensely! Optional: Step 7: Instantly deliver the cubs with Instant Cub Delivery Only if you're impatient. I know I would be after all this effort lol. Or........................... you can skip all of these steps and use a Mutie On Demand! Kidding, those are f*cking expensive. --- I haven't used this strategy yet, but it was approved by a helper! If you have any questions, I know a few things, and I'd be willing to answer! If you need anything to be clarified, don't be afraid to ask! I would love to see results!! 5 players like this post! Like? Edited on 04/08/23 @ 01:03:10 by mavenn (#113380) |
