Hello! Simple stud suggestion here!

Now that we have the option for the stud request system to filter the fertility of a lioness out, it would be nice to have the system fail to send a stud request out if you are out of slots for the week. My side's king is a sunset king, and I sold out the first week of having him. However, people were still sending stud requests. Because I turned requests OFF, I forgot to turn them back on until I had to level up a few days later, after the Monday reset.

You could always reject them, but then that discourages people from coming back and studding to you again, not realizing you may be out of slots. I personally don't send requests to kings after mine has been rejected.

If you have any thoughts on how I could improve this suggestion, tell me!

Improvements

"What about a toggle where you can choose if your king's studding information is visible or hidden when you run out. Then it resets on the Monday reset while keeping your settings for the next time you run out."

an idea is you could get to write a personal failure message i think that would be neat?

also sometimes i send reqs on Sundays to slotless males because im typically too busy on mondays to remember, and its just in limbo til they can get to it (ofc i also use the handy stud message system to let the stud know I'm doing it, and if its against their rules i dont)

i do like the toggle, and it also might be neat if you could edit the toggle so it comes on the days you want it and it would be extra extra awesome if the stud options disappeared if the player hasn't ro'd in x days

I often forget to turn stud requests off whenever I run out of slots, this would be very helpful!

Personally I’d really prefer some kind of 'are you sure? This lion currently has no stud slots remaining for this week' automated message popup though, as opposed to making it impossible to send requests at all.

Just because I like to leave mine open so that if/when slots run out towards the end of the week, people can send in requests early on Saturday/Sunday or whatever, if they want to be first in line to reserve a slot on Monday. That seems relatively popular (or at least I tend to get people doing it fairly regularly) so it’d be a shame to lose that ability

^^^
All of that. It'd be a major big deal for me to lose this.

What about an auto-request thing? If the male has run out of stud slots, you should have an option to automatically send a stud request after they have got more stud slots. This would be very helpful to forgetful people. (sorry if this addition to the suggestion has been said before, I didn't read through the replies)

The only reason I wouldn't support is because I'll sometimes send a stud request on a Sunday so that the lioness can get bred at RO. Especially for busy studs, it ensures that your lady gets seen too. I have a few people who use my stud regularly who place their requests on Saturday or Sunday, just so that they don't forget and never get her bred.

I would love if we could explain why we rejected a request, though, or make an automatic message that sends out once we reach 0/15 slots that explains that we're out.

i would only support if it existed in a toggle form so that you would still have the option to receive/send requests, as sometimes i will intentionally send a request to an empty stud on sunday so that they'll get to my girl first thing monday morning, and i know others have done the same with my stud

love the idea, though! i just wouldn't wanna click support until i know for sure i would still have the option to do that

I definitely support this. Since their are studs who run out of request before the week is out. Even for breeding to get this and that.

hey! just posting again because i really want to support this suggestion, but because i really would want it to exist in a toggle form— not just a toggle for your stud's info to be visible, but a toggle as in you can choose to continue to be open to stud requests even after all slots are taken (for the reasons i mentioned in my first post)— i'm going to have to click no support for now :( if you'd be willing to update your suggestion to be a toggle, though, i'd 100% support!

edit;; oop realized OP quit lol well leaving this up in case someone decides to re-make the suggestion ^^
