Cinis woke up and padded off to find River and Koa. "Wanna go for a hunt?"

Koa pricked his ears as he heard Cinis’s voice. “Sure!!” Turning his auburn head towards his only sister, he chuffed “ I promise River, i’ll bring you back the biggest thing we catch.” Turning back to the lioness, “ Well shall you lead the way?!

"Umm.. sure. I know where some elk are..." cinis laughed. "Hope you are up for a chalange!"

"You know me, always up for a challenge. " The male lion padded close behind Cinis, trying to resist the urge to nip gently at her tail tuft. They stopped when Cinis put her muzzle to the sky and took a breath, causing Koa to do the same, the musky scent of elk was wafting up from a hollow. Koa padded silently to the lionesses ear. "I have a plan, If you go to the direct other side of the ridge so you can see me and vise versa, we can charge down into the hollow at the same time and seperate the herd, which will make it easier to single out a target." Koa wispered his plan, then he directed the lioness to look at his tail. "This means stay put" He whispered, bringing is tail straight up like a tree, "If i do this it means charge on the count of three" He brought his tail forward quickly, still keeping it high. "And this means that i am ready" He flicked his tail tip gently in the air. "When you are ready, I want you to give me that same signal, Okay?" Koa was still whispering. Giving Cinis a couple of loving licks between her ears, he sent her on her way to the other side of the hollow with a flick of his tail on her rump.

Cinis smiled as she padded off. When she was ready, she gave "the signal".
She then charged at the elk.

Watching Cinis charge down the hill, forced him to do the same, galloping into the center of the herd and cutting off a small group of elk and herding them away from their companions. "Cinis herd the rest away, run up and down that line as fast as you can!!" He roared to the stunning lioness, keeping his eyes and mind on the few elk he had seperated, hearing Cinis lead them away and then come charging back by herself to help him, when the female had reached his side Koa chuffed "Im gonna cut off the bull and lead him away, dont let the female or the calf follow, okay?" Then without another word, Koa charged between the bull elk and what was probably its mate, ducking and dodging the hooves that tried to take aim at his broad head. Koa roared and soon got the bull elk away, sending it running with a good bite to its hind. Koa doubled back, helping Cinis to wrestle the female to the ground.
