Kaka huffed, eyeing River, before promptly lifting themselves up and very slowly padding away, deeper into the brush, taking their time. Deciding that it was time to bring back food and herbs to her companion, and perhaps drop some off for the other folks, she mindlessly walked a while, rarely opening her maw to take in the scents to therefore gather and feast.
It took a while before she found a unsuspecting bird picking at the ground, where Kaka then eased into a crouch to begin.

Deep inside of a large Sycamore Fig, a dark cat rested. Diego, said dark cat, was perched atop a strong, sturdy branch, his tail hanging off of the side. The appendage swayed behind him in time with the light breeze, and his large eyes were close to falling shut. He had been traveling on paw all day and was quite tired. The song of the birds and the quiet rustle of the leaves were almost enough to lull the large feline to sleep, but he remained alert. It would be risky to fall asleep in an area he was unfamiliar with.

A decent sized bird clamped in her jaws, alongside a large wad of miscellaneous herbs, Kaka padded along absentmindedly and slowly emerged from the brush she was formerly hiding in. She walked for a few moments longer until she saw a flick of movement in the corner of her vision, turning to catch a glance of something moving in a large tree. Her senses clouded with her materials, she trotted a little ways away only to stop and lay down, facing the tree and dropping near her paws what she had gathered to feast on her prey and attempt to observe the small movement semi-peacefully.

When River awoke, she could smell Kaka but the scent was stale , so she lifted her head and took really deep breaths in through her nose , hoping to catch a whiff of Kaka, catching Kaka's scent , River started to track the lionesses. Soon River found Kaka , letting out a tiny moan like noise in acknowledgement, so as not to startle her. "Hello Kaka, would you like to come back to the camp with me?" River chuffed gently, sorta slouching as to not make her feel intimidated

Kaka, still feasting on her bird ever so slowly, began to regain her sense of smell, and took in a nearby scent of the big cat she had met earlier. Looking up at where the scent was coming from as soon as the cat began to talk, she jumped with a start, her ears flat against her head and eyes wide, not daring to move.
She tried to relax, but could barely do so, and sat silent for a few moments before letting out a low chuffing in reply for River to go on to camp and she would follow, in which she began to slowly pick up her herbs, continuously flicking her gaze toward the other cat as she did so.
Not knowing what was in the tree, but thinking it must be alive, she picked up the remains of the bird and carried it to the base of the Sycamore and dropped it as a generous offering to whoever decided to grab it, before inching her way towards River.

Realizing that Kaka had agreed to follow her back to camp , River looked back to make sure that the lioness was following, River saw that Kaka had a couple of piles of herbs , after a few seconds a light bulb went off over River's head and she nodded her head to the herb piles "Do you want me to help you carry those back ?" River asked

Pausing at more conversation being thrown her way, Kaka got ready to shake her head, before hesitating. She didn't like others touching her materials, but maybe a little help wouldn't hurt...
She could carry all the herbs no problem, but her jaw was beginning to ache. Cautiously she dropped half of her herbs onto the ground, and nudged it gently in River's direction, taking a few steps back.

Diego watched carefully as the two felines below him conversed. His eyes trained on the small morsel, saliva beginning to build in his mouth. It had been a day or so since he had eaten, and he was fighting to keep a starved grumble from escaping him. He licked his chaps as the two females made their way out before leaping from the tree and practically inhaling the tiny bird. He crunched on the remains of the food, a relief falling from his broad shoulders.

Eclipse-

Eclipse woke up and rose to his paws. He let out a loud yawn. He stretched and emerged from his den. Bored, Eclipse decided to hunt, even though it was not his duty. Eclipse stepped out of camp and was off. He opened his mouth to get a better sniff of his surroundings. He smelled a rabbit or two, a mouse. He thought rabbit tasted better so he went for rabbit. He went to crouch mode. He lifted all his weight into his haunches. He carefully and slowly walked a bit closer, is giant paws making no sound. He pounced, almost missing the rabbit be he caught it though.

The pale tall grass swayed in the soft breeze as time trickled by. Zorren remained hidden and shaded from the sun, his underbelly flush against the ground with his legs spread wide. A ragged huff was the only noise that he made. The blazing heat was nothing like he had been used to in his enclosure and he dreaded every second of it. If he didn't find water soon, he'd will himself to a suicidal fight with a lion pride. So deep in the outlands he doubted he'd stumble upon prey, let alone water or another felidae.
