So, i was thinking that a potential mutation that could be added is Eczema. Its a skin condition that often causes rashes, and the severity can vary from mild to severe. In animals, it can cause patches where no fur grows due to the irritation of the skin. There could be two types of eczema added. Eczema: Mild - Small patches of fur loss mainly around joints, where it shows the skin colour underneath. No sores. Eczema: Severe - Large patches of fur loss, showing the skin colour underneath. Sores and scabs visible. Split skin around joints. Lethal, due to the fact that the sores could get infected and being wild animals, survival can be pretty slim when infection sets in. While there are many tpes of eczema, i figured just a sort of a broad across the board sort of type would be more effective than trying to match to every type that is out there. |

There's already an item that cures mutations. It's called Safou Fruit and you can buy it in Monkey Business^^ I don't know what I think about this suggestion, I'm sorry. I just wanted to point that out... 1 player likes this post! Like? Edited on 13/06/18 @ 21:36:18 by Finch Face (#131981) |

Dunno, but it isn't accurate to call that mutation Eczema. That is a treatable illness and varies. The reason dogs/cats get atopic dermatitis is because of bad diet, environment, allergies, sensitivity, vaccines overdosing, weaken immune system. Info on feline ezcema= click No support because eczema is being portrayed inaccurately. And untreated and persistent eczema can lead to severe eczema (animal keeps scratching, worsening it, doesn't let it heal; eczema keeps getting triggered), so you can't have it has two "mutations". If lioden had diseases then maybe it could be added. lions could recover or have it chronically and if it worsens then die. (I'm a tech vet ^_^') 0 players like this post! Like? What if we added health statues to our lions? Like oh, eczema outbreak? Maybe have ointments in the monkey shop of have to find herbs for it in explore? Would anyone else think that was cool? In nature sickness happens. Why not here? 0 players like this post! Like? |

The reason I'm not supporting is this can easily be shown with the items in game. Sure, it woukd be cool to have those extra effects but I don't think it's really worth a mutation? I'd love to hear a rebuttal to this! for now, no support~ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Me and my mother both have eczema. Neither of us were born with it, but it appeared at the same age. My mom's eczema is a lot more severe than mine, she gets hundreds of tiny blisters on her hands and feet, while mine is small patches of 1-3 blisters on my hands that come and go and get worse when i'm stressed. I actually think this would be really cool in-game, I can see how it could offend some people though 0 players like this post! Like? |

As someone with eczema, i think this is a good idea. Severe eczema can be a Serious health hazards. Imagine this. The inside of your is itchy. Bad right? Now imagine it Never stops, the top layer of skin is gone but you keep itching and itching even though it hurts? That's why it has a possibility to be a lethal ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Most of the people that aren't supporting are people without eczema ΰ²°β _β ΰ²° y'all gotta step off a lil this ain't for you /j but seriously, this is a good idea. Even if it isn't 100% accurate to the real world, neither is a lion with a f**king blue mane. If i click on these non-supporters y'all better not have any color bombs, and only have 1 mutie cause the chance of one irl lion pride having 37 differently mutated lions is scientifically 0. Now the idea of it being a status condition with a permanent cure instead of mutation implies that it's a temporary thing and ANY person with eczema would absolutely offended at that take it comes Ang goes away, yes. But it always comes back. Eczema isn't something that you can pop a pill and cure, it is a lifelong burden that affects a lot of life. "is this detergent sensitive skin friendly?" "I can't go to the pool today, I'm having a flair up and the chlorine with dry my skin even more" Or if you're for the 'natural approach' "What food will cause a flair up?" "my skin is dry and without moisturizing it every few hours i will scratch myself until i bleed" It does not have a quick fix. Again this is a Fictional lion game so completely wiping the mutation from a lion with a safou fruit would be reasonable. Now there could be a way to work it in as a status condition. First of all at completely random rollovers your lion with eczema would appear with a light rash, after 2-3 days the rash gets worse 4-7 days the rash gets dangerously bad giving your lion an infection (now this would mean that eczema would not be the only status condition. They would have to add multiple which would probably drive the devs and creative department not to mention artists insane.) 8-10 days your lion dies. The cure could be an herb that could be crafted into an ointment but i assume that would mean taking quite a wolvden approach since they have illnesses/ status effects already. All in all. It could be a status effect but they would have to add that feature and it'd be quite annoying cause they'd have to add more than one. Or it could much more easily be a lethal mutation similar to deafness, every RO having a chance of ending your lion with this mutation. Also for those claiming it's not a mutation, it very much is. It is a genetic abnormality. A genetic disorder is literally another way of saying mutation ΰ² β οΉβ ΰ² .... Sorry for the long ass rant i am sleep deprived asf 0 players like this post! Like? |
