This is an official clan thread for the Clean Line Felines Clan! Guess who finally got off their lazy ass and made a Clan Chat? Yep, folks, this is the (long await) official Thread for Clean Line Felines!. Clan messages can seem impersonal and even a little annoying, I know, so I've decided to make things a bit more ~casual~. We don't have any fancy CSS (yet--), but no worries! Before you chat, lemme go over a few things! If I am not available, please do not hesitate to contact another Admin! Obviously, follow all of Lioden's CoC and ToS rules, be polite to one another, ect ect. The primary purpose of this thread is to report on Clean breeding Projects/Goals, future projects, NCLs you've chased and hope to find, and general chatter I suppose. I'll start us off. Answer these questions if you'd be so kind! 1) Are you going to breed cherry marks when they come out? 2) Have any interesting lions born or expecting any? 3) What do you think about CLFL have an official Symbol? We may vote on this so if you have one (that is in TEXT form, as these will be placed into Usernames), please don't hesitate to suggest one in a post! So, I need to start thinking about replacing my king on my side. Is there any way to get a heritageless male other than rolling? What are these 'male groupies' I keep seeing mention of? Can't find anything about how to get them. I don't really mind rolling a new one, though the low stats are kind sucky. Just wondering what my options are. 0 players like this post! Like? |

*peeks in* Hope you don't mind my answering, I was randomly clicking through and sent a request to join <3. Groupies are special lions that can be claimed during the May event (Brotherhood of Zeal storyline) as a minigame from an NPC V'Kai (links to wiki). From what I can gather (Just joined in September so I haven't participated yet <3) you can choose to be able to find male groupies too, and then you have a chance at finding/auto-claiming them <3. There's still some being sold by other users if you want a heritageless groupie, and new ones won't return until the May event storyline. ^^ <3 I'm not sure if there's any other way to get a heritageless male (while keeping your current King's looks, if that's what you want to do) though, as I mostly see mention of groupies <3. No problem! xD I think that since they're newly generated lion(esse)s, the only thing to really do for their stats is to train them up yourself >.<' I'm pretty comfortable saying that heritageless will generally have lower starting stats than well-bred heirs since they can't get any kind of boost from parents' stats. xD <3 That makes sense! <3 I've never built a King from scratch, but some people use the Customization option as a starting point if they can't find a clean/lower-gen lion they like enough to build from. :3 <3 Or if they don't want to re-roll their King completely by choosing the re-roll option and end up with another Starter King. xD 0 players like this post! Had to rollover my side to store a few cubs so I have 3 heritage-less male groupies for sale. They're all not even 2 yet (1.10-1.11 years old). I kinged my first non-rolled king on this account today. He has 2 rare slots, 2 and 10, if anyone is a rare slot breeder. He's clean lined but not hard mode compatible. Montezuma's appearance isn't complete so all funds are going towards that. Right now only standard breeding is available. Once I get more territory I'll open traditional breeding. Hey guys, I've been thinking for a while to put my King up for Stud, but I am unsure if it could work, considering hes base is not an app base like most studs I've seen. He is over 500 stats and always growing, I have 1 Cloudburst and 2 Unholy markings so I guess that is something? But what would you think? @Kaiser | Putting a lion up for stud can be helpful if you want to try to build your SB. You king doesn't HAVE to have a special base- it mostly just helps in terms of popularity. Thanks Jackjaw! Lol I checked the new bases, amazing! The good and bad thing about my King tho is that his base is too close to both Brimstone and Demonic so its not worth it to change to them, won't make much for improving his looks. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Congrats Lindsay! Now that Albinos have come to mind, anyone has an idea on how to calculate their "appearance rate"? Because truth be told, I have bred about 10 Albinos, which I don't dislike, I really like them, but it has caught my attention that other users seem to see this as a rare happening while for me its quite a regular thing. @Kaiser A while ago people were collecting data to find the pass rates of various types of bases (special versus rare versus common, etc.) and data on albinos was collected too. Here is the thread; if I recall correctly, albinos cropped up around 5% of the time on average? 0 players like this post! Like? |
