I'm Crow, I'm an artist though I won't be doing commissions yet because my tablet just decided to stop working about a week ago. I'll open up a shop either once I get my tablet working again or once I get used to drawing with a mouse again. Uh... my original fursona was an Aardwolf but they don't really suit me anymore so I'm trying to make a new one. I couldn't really think of an animal that fits me quite right so I took a few online quizzes as a last resort. Two of them actually assigned me to an elk so I might do that. I'm not sure if I want them to be biologically female or male, considering that I'm trans, but I'll figure it out soon.

I'm having another art block I'd say, I got my lineart mostly done, but as for color schemes I'm drawing a blank. But I am proud that I finally did some art in a long time.

I want to host a rather large raffle. I'm definitely considering having art as some of the prizes. It's going to be a free raffle but people can donate if they'd like! It's mostly to get our clan back out there and start getting new, active members. I have a GMO cow I'm thinking about putting up for the raffle. I'm just not sure how many tiers I want.

So drawing an elk for the first time without a tablet is entirely impossible and I don't have paper with me, so I'm going to use a maker program to design my fursona for now.

Also I decided I'll have my fursona be biologically female so that he'll represent me more fittingly, being a trans male.

If you found a good art app maybe you can use that as a temporary mini tablet.
I use my phone most of the time because I usually don't have any paper with me either, it's been so long since I drew on paper too. .n. I also miss making things out of clay.

I may change up his markings a bit when I draw him myself to make him less bare. The advanced coloring tool was rather wonky to use so I just stuck to minimal, realistic markings.

As for clothes, he’ll probably wear sweatpants and a hoodie over long sleeved shirts when he’s in public, but then wear a thin, open jacket with short sleeves over a shirt with short sleeves as well, paired with jeans and maybe a necklace when he’s in his house since that’s what I do.

Social anxiety has pretty much flip flopped my fashion sense. Wear normal, rather bland clothes in public and wear the cute outfits in the safety of your home.

The neat simplicity of his markings makes me wonder if I'm trying too hard on my own character's markings and colors. Hrmm
