17th October, 2019: I am leaving these existing links up, however I am going to start working through some results in this thread (more recent to be honest, because a lot of lions are repped or dead now) and compiling them all into one spreadsheet and then categorized spreadsheets after that. Hmm, I notice that the sire of the king who sired the soft brown rosette happens to have brown rosette.. but it isn't one of the sires' hidden markings. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The only similarities between the parents of both the cubs was the presence of an Under White marking and Mottled Rosette in some way. (also the Ends mane markings, but I doubt that has much to do with it.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I suspect under white has a part to play, if you notice the mock-ups in the news post both have under white markings, kinda like a clue :D I suspect mottled rosette will be required to pass, but I also have a hunch that perhaps it might be a hidden mark bonus - each cub scryed had a parent with a hidden marking, as well. Investigate more, we must :D I'm still scrying out the non-mottled parents, I'll take that up to 250 tries before I'll conclude them as failures xD 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hey, Cala! I was talking with Ghoul, the one who had the soft rosette born, and I was looking at both mother and father. I noticed the mother has Mottled Rosette. But I also noticed that both mother and father had Feline markings. I dont know if thats something, but ive been scrying a load of different things. I thought maybe Mottled Rosette x Feralis? 100 scry attempts with the non-mottled parents of the soft rosette babies are all fails; will try more tomorrow. Will do a quick 100 with the mottled parents now. @Devil; All theories are good theories! Keep it up! If you can remember the amount of scry attempts and the exact pairings you were trying, do let me know, I can add the results to the main post so other people know you've already tried :D <3 tysm :DDD edit to say 5 scry attempts in on the mottled parent pairing and a slot 20 brown rosette has appeared. 0 players like this post!
