Forgive me, but I am bad at wording things.

I noticed when I was playing with the wardrobe trying to see if there's any markings I can use to spruce up my submale that the current way it works is a bit disorienting? too play with all the different markings. It's alphabetized with the color first for most markings, and with some markings not coming in every color available, it's easy to overlook some markings, or forget which markings you already have.

What I'm suggesting is to add a secondary drop down menu next to the marking menu. Have one menu hold just the base marking types, no colors, and the second will generate the colors that marking is available in.

So for example, if you want to find golden inverted brindle, you would find the inverted brindle in the first menu, then use the second menu to specify you want golden inverted.
I just think it'll be slightly easier to play with all the markings if they where ordered by the marking and not their color at least.

This suggestion has 9 supports and 0 NO supports.

I think the inverse would actually be easier; choose a color, then choose the marking in a double-dropdown like you suggest.

This is because many colors -Bloodbourne, Ice, Maroon, Fiery and so on- are only available through specific applicators; it'd be easier to see right off the bat 'here are my four options if I use a Kimanjano app on this lion' than to click Lace then Kimanjano, then go back and click Maofelis then Kimanjano and so on.

It's one thing if you remember to check the Wiki or remember which markings an app gives by heart, but I feel this would be more newbie-friendly and more suitable for people when designing a lion. You can just choose Arctic markings, then browse through the four Arctic marks you might get in that slot and see if you're willing to risk using that app. =P It'd be hell to have to check the Wiki for every marking Arctic comes in, then click on those markings, then the right color one by one.

It'd also help narrow down your choices when finalizing a design; instead of jumping between completely different colors of Crackle in an attempt to find one that works, you'd instead look between, say, different Dark Brown markings to find juuust the right one to work with your design and from there easily bounce between Crackle and Brindle and all sorts of back-covering markings until you find what suits best in the colors you were already using for the design. Or easily scroll through all those White markings that provide really cute details.

Only a handful of applicators work the opposite way [you know the marking you'll get and then narrow it down to the color, like Hyena and Cheetah Royal], so I strongly believe this to be the more efficient system.
