First of all, where do I even post questions? Quick question, so say a king has a marking at 1% and the lioness does not have this marking. The marking MAY pass to the cub, but at what opacity? If it does pass, isn't it most likely going to be a low percentage, close to 1%? Is it possible, even just a little bit, that marking will appear on the cub at any random opacity? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Marking opacity is fairly random. You can have a parent with 100% and the cub only gets 20%, or the opposite can be true. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's more common for the marking to pass at a lower opacity than the parent's than one higher than the parent's. Though it is very possible for the marking to be higher % than the parents: For example, my raffle lioness Ashildr(in my main den) has Bone Soft Unders at 35% Cub with Bone Soft Unders 63% The most likely answer is, however, that opacity could really just be 100% random. 0 players like this post! You can ask questions in the Game Help forums ^^ I'm not 100% sure, but from what I've noticed is that the markings seem to appear on cubs at random opacities. I did a couple of scrying stones just to check and the cubs that gained my king's markings, they were at different opacities than him. 0 players like this post! Like?
