Ebony is not that hard to breed. It only needs some organization on your part. You can get one without outside blood if you already have lions in the black dark solid color group.

You either have to have a king or a lioness in this color group and after that it's only luck. It's a special too, so either the lioness or the stud have to have a special coat - doesn't matter which one, just a special base. I have a black medium countershaded king and from time to time I breed an ebony with a solid lioness.

Obviously, if both the king and the lioness is in the black dark solid color group you have better chances at breeding one soon.

Ebony is a Black dark solid special base. It is breed only (not able to be applied), but you don't need a parent to have the ebony coat. It is a special base which will naturally appear in breedings if the genetic conditions are met.

In other words, the best way to get an ebony base is to breed black solid dark special genetics bases together - or bases which can make that combination.
Breeding Onyx/Ebony/Nuummite/Haze/Interstellar is the best way to get an ebony, but you can use other combinations which can produce black solid dark special.

For example (bold showing genetics which ebony has):
Chestnut (black, solid, dark, common) x Maltese (black, countershaded, medium, special)

Xanthic (golden, solid, dark, special) x Albino (black, solid, light, common)

Ice (black, countershaded, dark, special) x Umber (red, solid, medium, special)

I have a huge love for ebony, and it's not super difficult to breed. Ebony is a breed only base, so you cannot apply it. Your best shot is to buy an ebony female and stud her to an ebony based male, but if you don't want to buy one, stud a black color group lioness to an ebony king and just hope an ebony comes out. I got an ebony from a titanium x shedua; was pretty suprised. I'm kinda new, so I didn't know Ebony used to be a special base, oof.
