Current Event: Check here! Lore A long long time ago, long before any of the elders were born, there lived five great Clans in harmony. Thunderclan, the Clan of fierce, and brave warriors, their heads as thick as the forests they hunt. Riverclan, the Clan of clever, and strong warriors, their minds as swift as the rivers they swim. Shadowclan, the Clan of cunning, and wily warriors, their hearts as dark as the shadows they were born out of. Windclan, the Clan of fast, and swift warriors, their loyalty as fragile as the rabbits they hunt. And finally, there was Skyclan. Skyclan, the Clan of determined, and agile warriors, their heads as strong as the oaks you climb. Their minds as sharp as the finest warrior's claws. Their hearts as pure as Starclan itself. And their loyalty as fierce as the fire that burns within. These five Clans lived peacefully together, controlled by the very warrior code that keeps us safe today. But one day, twolegs decided to destroy Skyclan's home. Skyclan's leader pleaded with the other Clans to take them in, help them survive. But the other leaders' hearts were as cold a winter night. They refused Skyclan, saying that twolegs destroying their home was a sign from Starclan that there should only be four Clans in the forest, just as there were four great oaks in the heart of their shared territory. Skyclan was driven out that night. Our ancestors traveled for moons and moons on end. Many died along the way. Many got lost, and many gave up hope. One day, an ancient medicine cat got a vision from Starclan. They saw the perfect place for our Clan to settle down and live. Overjoyed by their vision, the medicine cat ran to the leader and told him of the wondrous vision. Skyclan regained it's hope and pushed through all the challenges Starclan had laid out. More moons passed, but Skyclan finally arrived. Waiting for them, at the shore of the lake, sat a kittypet. She had deep, amber eyes, and fur softer than a moon old kit. Now before you start criticising the kittypet for being so far away from her twolegs, know that she is the reason we can live here today. Starclan had sent her to welcome our ancestors, help them recover from their dangerous journey. Her name, was Aether. By the time our Clan had recovered, the old medicine cat had died, and the leader asked Aether to become the new medicine cat. She already had a talent for healing, and her compassion was more than they had ever experienced in their old home. She accepted, and took on a new name to honour the Clan's way. After a while of living by the lake, the small group of cats took in loners and other kittypets. Our Clan grew, and eventually it seemed insulting to our ancestors to call ourselves Skyclan. Aether, now Featherhope, passed away before the ancient leader could decide on a name, so he named us Aetherclan to honour her memory. We still tell of the ancient times when Skyclan was still used, in honour of our ancestors who bore the proud name. But we use Aetherclan to show respect, and honour the medicine cat that saved our Clan. NPC list: Check them out! He looked relaxed to know LeopardBlossom was ok, however the sadness lingered even after the queen went to sleep. Her poor beautiful kit. They were bound to have been a loving helpful tom. Seeing kits be Stillborn is always something a Medicine cat hates to see, but nothing can ever be perfect. He looked back to the dens entrance warry of the setting sun and the hunger in his stomach. He decided the queen would need quiet to sleep, So he got to his paws and padded into the clearing. He peered around the bustling camp and quickly made a mad dash to the fresh kill pile, grabbing 3 random animals from the top, and racing back. He looked back to see if anyone were staring, or had seen him. He nearly slammed into the slight hill that led into the medicine den. Tumbling over his paws he slipped down into the medicine den, He picked up some speed and smacked into the den wall. He groaned shaking his head. He looked around dizzily. And left behind some prey for when Cedarfur and LeopardBlossom would awaken. He cuddled up close to his nest and slowly began to eat the squirrel he had left for himself. Eventually he finished and buried the skeleton of the freshly eaten squirrel. He took a final glance outside before curling into a fuzzy ball. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She blinked her green gaze, then narrowed it. "You scented twolegs? How old was the scent?" She asked, her large paper-thin audits flicking as she noticed that Leopardblossoms noises had finally stopped. She inhaled sharply. "Please, there's no need to bow." She meowed, her tail flicking. The titanic silver tabby chewed on the inside of her cheek. She needed to talk to Owlflight after this, about perhaps mentoring Maplekit. She had thought on it a bit, and had decided that he would be a good mentor. On the topic of mentors and kits, she wondered how Leopardblossom was doing. Cedarfur : 20 Moons : Medicine Cat : Healthy : Camp/Medicine Cat Den : Mentions - Rubypaw Cedarfur smiles at the sight of Leopardblossom sleeping. Almost everything went well, but at least the queen was okay, Cedarfur stood up and saw two pieces from the prey pile, she took one and padded out of the den to give the two of them quiet to relax. She carried her piece till she was a little bit outside the medicine cat den and lied down, slowly taking small bites of her food. As she finished she buried the remains and lied her head on her paws, thinking about the kitting. Cedarfur smiled at the thought of two new warriors and sighed a little, she then started to think about the kit she lost. That was one of the hardest parts for Cedarfur, she shook her head, she needed to think of something else and then she remember the prophecy. She looked up and spotted Fernstar, she seemed busy at the moment. Cedarfur let out a small sigh and closed her eyes, slowly she felt herself slipping into sleep. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Maplekit - 5 moons - Kit - Healthy - Camp - Mentions: Owlflight, Leopardblossom Maplekit's tail swishes intently behind her as she purrs at the thought. She knows that means that Leopardblossom has had her kits. She is almost an apprentice after all. Maplekit has been the youngest and reveled in being babied but now with new kits, she feels older. Then he laid down, tucking his paws under him and becoming what most two-legs would call a cat loaf. His tail flicked around here and there, and distantly he seemed to realize that he had a tiny leaf stuck in his fur. He grumbled. "...perhaps when their mother is conscious." Leopardblossom - 22 Moons - Queen - Full - Medicine Den - Maplekit Blinking her eyes open Leopardblossom yawns and pushes herself to her paws slowly. Her kits mewling in protest of their warmth being taken away. She stretches her back and shakes her pelt before making a few rounds around the nest and settling down in a more comfortable position. Giving her daughter a quick bath before moving on to her rowdy tom, who still has yet to quieten down. Once she is finished she places a soft lick on her stillborn kit's head. While nuzzling her two suckling kits she hears a squeaking voice outside the den accompanied by the deeper voice of Owlflight. Maybe she would have visitors today. She had become awful bored sitting in here by herself. She gave her self a few grooming licks to her chest and paws. She really should move to the nursery soon, and her kit would eventually need to be buried. Would they sit vigil for the kit they will never know? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Stormwhisper , 25 moons , Healthy , Warrior , Camp , mentions Fernstar, Owlflight Dustclaw Maplekit Later on after Stormwhisper had picked a nice mouse from the fresh I'll pile it looked to have been dwindling ever so. She picked her self up from where she had eaten and wanted to go ask Dustclaw and Fernstar what needed to be done as of yet. Seeing then chatting quietly she decided not to disturb them, but rather she walked over to Owlflight dozing slightly in the suns warm rays. Sitting with her tail placed over her paws she looked to the older warrior and meowed, "Would you like to go on a small hunting patrol with me? It would make up for sending such a fierce little warrior after your poor tail, wouldn't you say?" It had been funny to watch the two spar gently across camp, Stormwhisper was glad she told Maplekit to sneak up on Owlflight. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Maplekit - 5 moons- Kit - Healthy - Camp - Mentions: Owlflight, Stormwhisper Maplekit droops a little in disappoint. She lies down on top of Owlflight's tail, distractedly playing with it. Her ears perk when Stormwhisper walks up. At being called a fierce warrior, Maplekit feels warm and happy, making her smile. It seemed the cat playing with the kitten, Owlflight; and a cat who he thought had just gotten back to camp, Stormwhisper, were discussing heading out to go and hunt. The small kitten was lolling around next to the warrior. How cute. It was clear to him that Owlflight would mentor Maplekit as soon as she was old enough. Soot himself was bored yet had no real interest in working on the warrior's den. It felt like such an afterthought as his eyes seethed over the camp. The deputy had stood up straight to greet Fernstar and they themselves were talking over the twolegs. VVhen Duskclaw mentioned how Stormwhisper said the twolegs were long gone, a furrow in his brow crimped his angular features. It bothered him that the deputy did not go into detail of how the she-cat knew, instead offhandedly mentioning that they knew. Probably the scents were just faint. Getting bored with the whole staring-cats-down-from-across-camp activity, the ashen tom flopped his silken body to the ground and stretched out in the sunlight. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Then he looked at the kit that just got up off of his tail, swishing the fluffy abomination and thinking for a moment before looking at the other Warrior. "Let me take Maplekit to the Medicine Den, it sounds like the queen is done screaming. Maybe she would like a bit of energetic company." When they get to the medicine den, Maplekit peeks inside the den and notices Cedarfur and Rubypaw sleeping. Her eyes scan over to Leopardblossom and gets giddy. She sneaks in and sees her first look of the newest editions to the clan. Maplekit purrs loudly. She tries to quiet it down, but she's too happy. He rolled to face the other direction. His tail flicked upward then curled up as it came to a rest against the floor. He let out a low hiss growl combo. Maybe it was his dream? Not to sure. Leopardblossom - 22 Moons - Queen - Full - Medicine Den The soft voice of Maplekit caught Leopardblossom's attention. Hearing the purr rising in the small cat's throat she smiles and chuckles. Unwrapping her tail slightly so the older kit could get a better look she glanced over her three beautiful kits. Her firstborn, a she-kit, was a caramel color with a rosette pattern just like Leopardblossom. Her second kit, a tom, was silver with black rosettes just like his father. The third kit was a solid white with ticks of grey on his paws and ears. "Well, they are only a day old sweetie. They don't even have names yet."
