This bug has been forwarded to the admin team.

What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?
Broodmothers and Hunters

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
I clicked 'set all lionesses to hunter' on the hunting page, which I normally do instead of setting individually for each cub that gets born because it's easier. Normally this leaves broodmothers who are already set as broodmother and protecting cubs alone, just changing lions without a set role to hunter. This time when I did it it set every single lion to hunter, including broodmothers. This isn't what I wanted but I assumed it was a new change in the way the 'set all to hunter' button worked until I checked my cubs. The cubs that were being broodmothered are still set as protected by a broodmother, even if that lioness is set to hunter.
Example:
My lioness called Rainbow Cheetah is a long term broodmother in my den. Her role as broodmother has never been switched, even though I press 'set all to hunter' often. After this click she was no longer listed as a broodmother. One of my cubs, 'Buggy 1', was protected by her when she was listed as a broodmother. This cub is still showing full protection even though Rainbow Cheetah is now listed as a hunter.
I changed two of my old broodmothers back to broodmothers, and they automatically had all the cubs they had been caring for looking after them. It looks like it's a glitch in what they show as registered as on the den/lion pages, not in the actual role the lion is having.

Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?
Rainbow Cheetah, who is now listed as hunter but acting as broodmother:

Buggy 1, who is still protected by Rainbow Cheetah despite her profile saying she is a hunter after I clicked the 'set all to hunter':

Two of my lionesses whose roles were listed as hunter after I clicked 'set all to hunter' despite already being broodmothers, but who were still registered as protecting all their cubs as soon as I manually changed their roles back:

Any screenshots you can provide us with?

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
1. Some lionesses in pride already registered as hunter, some younger lionesses/cubs in pride not registered with a role, some broodmothers registered and protecting cubs.
2. Clicked 'set all to hunter' on hunting page
3. Broodmothers registration showed as hunting arrow symbol on den page
4. Broodmothers registered as hunter now on their profile, but cubs they had been protecting are still under their protection
5. Manually switching an individual broodmother back to her original broodmother role from hunter, all the cubs she had previously been protecting automatically still registered as being protected by her

Update: I tried setting all lionesses to hunter again and this message popped up 'You have set all lionesses who are not currently in trades or are not set to Broodmother to be Hunters.' However I went to check on my broodmothers and the bug was still in place (broodmothers were listed as hunters despite when switching them back to being broodmothers they were still protecting cubs)

I'm having a similar bug; a lioness that was a hunter that I want to now be a broodmother will not allow me to set her as a broodmother. I have zero hunting parties and she successfully switched from "hunter" to "none", but she cannot be switched with the message "This lioness must be an adult female that is not hunting, not part of a hunting party, and not currently in a trade, trade offer or raffle."

This is annoying and I've experienced it as well. I try to set all lionesses to hunter (while hoping broodmothers would stay) but it sets all to hunter. Somehow the broodmothers get set to hunter but they still keep caring for the cubs that have been assigned to them.
