I was messing around in my art program with some bases and just kinda... overlaid Orchid over Sidereal and I fell in love. Unsure of the name, so for now we're sticking to either Candy or Azalea. So, considering Seth is a Chatoyant recolor, I don't think it's too out of the realm of possibility that this base could be a new February base. Of course, mane and marking applicators would accompany it, and I'll have those suggestions up and linked here soon! Edit; I know Feb has a lot of apps, so these could pop up in any shop! I'd suggest April, as there aren't any apps in the April shop. Candy/Azalea Markings Genetics; Red Light Countershaded Special   Here's Cherry Blossom and this base side by side, if you think they're too similar! (mine left Cherry right)  Edit; I'm not looking for suggestions on changing this base, sorry! This is the base that I want to suggest. |

|PUTPMottEbonyPie Oh i totally agree with it staying red, I was mean on the edges on the hind quarters make it darker red...and a little on the tail just to make it 'pop' it wont change a hell of a lot! just a tad darker (red) a full support from me regardless-----nice work 0 players like this post! LittleAntler, I'm not too big of a fan of this being implemented as a monthly combo, especially considering both Sidereal and Orchid are rather expensive, so I won't be adding that to the main post but thank you, nevertheless! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I love the CONCEPT of a rose quartz base, but it looks too similar to the other base. What I would do with it if I was capable of making stuff like this, is I would add in a few pale gray touches (as my rose quartz necklace has gray impurities in it) and/or maybe some white, and go for a 'streaky' 'smokey' quality. If you look at rose quartz it's less glittery and sparkley and more 'smokey'. Kind of like clouds? It has a really smooth quality. You could also do a sort of 'crackle' pattern (not like the marking). One of the pics that I've googled has diagonal 'crack' patterns going through it. If I can figure out how to put pictures in this comment I'll edit it with some examples! Edit: "Smokey" quality examples:   "Crack" quality examples:  Unplosished cracks:  So maybe there could be 2 versions (or at least 2 mock ups) which show a 'polished' version that has more smoke/cracks, and a 'rough' version which has more sparkles in it? 0 players like this post!
