After a long day of walking along a heavily trodden path, you find your paws/feet carrying you back home through a 'shortcut' your mind had made in the desperation to just get back and sleep. As you slowly sunk into a day-dreamy state, the next few moments quickly became a blur of confusion and mild alarm. A quiet 'PsssSSTT!' tried to catch your ear from the underbrush, though seeing as you were too tired to care, you kept trodding along the path without a care as to what the noise came from. After an annoyed grumble and the sound of heavy rustling followed suit by large branches cracking, another, louder 'PSSSSSTTTTT!' echoed in your drowsy brain, distracting you from the awesome corndog unicorn dream you were having..

"Hey! You!" Again, the entity hissed out at you, seemingly determined to get your attention. As you paused and look around with a tired frown, the creature spoke up again "Yeah, you! Looking like a lost kitten! C'mere!"

Now, this was just weird.. surely you wouldn't follow this weird.. silky voiced-being into some trap, right? Wrong.. You just wanted to get this over with so they'd stop bothering you. As you sighed and peered into the bushes, human-like hands with clawed fingertips and a charcoal skin tone reached out and dragged you into the dark leafy depths of your doom. You yelped as the same hand quickly moved to slap over your mouth and shut you up from any protests or distress calls. Growling a warning, the creature waited for you to calm down a bit more before loosening it's grip and turning you around to face it.. him? As you narrowed your eyes to adjust to the darkness surrounding you both, you finally got a good look at your captor. It looked like some demonic.. fox-man.. thing. While you continued to stare on into those narrowed, glittering, heterochromatic eyes, the man piped up in a melodious tone, his fang-like teeth glinting as the edges of his lips pulled up into a smirk.

"..If you're done eyeing me up, i'd like to show you why i brought you here.. Look. The name's Lysander.. And I've got a job to do, or that demon hag'll have my head mounted on her log cabin walls.. So help me out, aye?" As you glared daggers into his soul, the man continued on "I've got creatures that need homes.. And you just so happen to look lonely. So! What's your thoughts on making a deal with me to save a few animals, and put food on my plate? ..Hey, don't give me that look! I'm not shady.. I just want my tail in one piece.. Alright. Seeing as you haven't said no yet, come with me."

Without waiting for your answer, the weirdo pushed his way out through the underbrush and into the sunlight, walking into some sort of cove while making sure you were following closely behind. He slipped in a few flirtatious comments, and remarks, but you just ignored him for the most part. To be honest, the creatures he spoke of sounded interesting, and you again found yourself lost in a world of imagination. You only snapped back out of it when he dashed off after some oddly shaped animal, yelling curses with his unnaturally colored tail whipping through the air in annoyance. Frowning, you hurriedly followed after him into a large clearing with other odd creatures like him.. While he caught his breath, you gazed around in awe, watching the different colored beings playing and bouncing about.



"Haaaah.. Whew.. Quick little bugger, that... Ah- I'm good, thanks for asking.." You ignored his sarcasm, only sending a sour glance at the man before approaching some of the creatures in curiosity, finding yourself growing attached to a few in particular "Aahh- Guess that means I'll be eating tonight, huh.. Eheh.."
