Erythropoietic Porphyria is a rare genetic disorder that causes cats to have naturally red teeth, bones and urine that glow under ultraviolet light.

Its also known as the vampire disease, and for good reason: The disorder causes them to be extremely sun sensitive and they can suffer severe burns with even small amounts of sun exposure.

So this could be a semi-lethal mutation. From birth to year one, its a random chance for them to die from complications when going into the sunlight. After 2 years, they live, knowing the limits to their disorder by now, BUT with some drawbacks.

Cubs cannot train, Adolescents cant accompany Submales or Lionesses on a patrol/hunt, Males cannot patrol or be kinged, and Females cannot hunt, but can be broodmothers. They also lose 50% of their stats due to the anemic effects of this disease.

During those months before they turn 2, there is a RARE chance of them surviving a exploration outside, but they are guaranteed to get Scar: Burnt Fur as a result.

0 Months/Birth: "Your lioness notices her cub has strange red urine, and worries for its health, but it suckles fine, as long as its under her fur"
5 Months: "Cub has reached a milestone in its life, but instead of celebrating, it spends its time staying in the shadows or in the den. Cub seems to be more active at night."
1 year: "Cub likes to spend time outside at night but swiftly retreats to the den when the sun rises. You wonder how it will continue to live like this."
Death: "Cub has passed away after being exposed to the sunlight for too long."
Rare Survival: "Cub accidentally got caught in a ray of sunshine, and was burned in the light. Luckily they made it home before they took too much damage. Cub has gained Scar: Burnt Fur"
Adult: "Lion makes a joke about how they "Vant to drink your blood." You laugh cautiously, but inch a little bit away from them"

Random Flavor text when visiting:
"Lion mentions something about checking if they have bugs in their teeth, but honestly you cant tell if the color is just their teeth or blood of their last meal."
"Some adolescents are talking to Lion, but all they do is roll their eyes and mutter something about how they do not sparkle in the sunlight."
"Lion is covering something up as you walk by. You glance at them, but a strange look in their eye tells you that you should walk away."
