So everybody i have been thinking about breeding my sneks so i have decided that if anyone wants to use one of my scale babs in breeding they are welcome too i simply ask is if theres more then one baby i would like one (i would be fine with 2ond choice) so if anyone wants to use one of my sneks please pm me so i am aware of it but otherwise i have no restrictions on my babs. I want to be able to help folks who wish to breed thier sneks but only have one. I have two sneks Lupine is the male and Caroline is the female. 0 players like this post! Flower, any time would be good! I do have a concern--just recalled that Spinal Stripe is ALSO incomplete dominance. Heterozygous and Homozygous. In this case, I found that the homozygous version didn't work as well with your design given the Banded and Spinal Stripe were the same color--it made it so that you can barely see the bands. In this example, I used the het version as such. Now, if you want the homozygous form, I recommend we change the color of one of the marks so you can actually see them. Here's a rough example of the design--as it turns out, those colors don't have as much contrast on the base as I expected! Would you be ok with me fiddling with some of the colors to increase the contrast for you? I would prefer to lighten the base, Bands, and Spinal stripe somewhat so that the Motley marking shows up better and you get a more crisp color differential between the banded/spinal and base color. What are your thoughts?  If you're happy with the design, let me know--but I want to make sure you're 100000% happy with it before calling it done. :) Dark Dragon, that's so sweet of you!!!! <3 <3 I'll make a note of it on the Breeding part of the post, if you like? 0 players like this post! Auction ended, Dark Dragon has won! Just need her name. <3 Also--looks like the melanism mutation isn't super popular! Sorry to see it. POLL: Who would like me to retain all natural markings/colors and replace the melanism mutation with a different mutation, and just get rid of melanism as a mutation entirely?
