I don't think that you're overpricing your art at all, I think that it's all really reasonable
I just think most people on this site prefer paying in-game currency

It's not so much that, it's that Lioden has a really weird art market. The vast majority of artists undercut themselves and it's become the norm here, so if someone sells their art for $15 on dA, they're cutting their pricing here down to 10 GB or even 5 GB just so that people will buy it.

As an artist myself, you art is worth just as much as you've settled with, or even more. Lioden artists tend to have to undercut their prices due to these situations because people tend to bring things down by telling them it's overpriced or out of their range. Though, art is a luxury; a privilege if you will, so in reality, you should keep the prices as you want, and if they can't pay, then so be it. It's not really the best art market, but it is what it is. I think your art is wonderful, and worth the positive attention and price.

I don't think you're overpricing - your art is cute and ultimately you're charging for your time, which is completely reasonable.

Prices for art tend to run really low around here, lower than other more art-specific sites. I think it's just the nature of the market on LD and sometimes other similar games - a lot of buyers are only willing/able to pay GB, and a lot of artists are young, maybe just doing commissions for fun/experience rather than serious money, so undervaluing is common.

And of course that pushes the going rate for art down considerably. I don't buy art here as much anymore so I could be out of touch, but I know when I did many artists I bought from could easily have doubled or quadrupled their prices imo considering the quality, but they more or less had to stay low to be competitive with all the other cheap prices. As little as 5-10GB for fullbodies (even for HQ art) isn't unusual. It's a bit of a lose-lose situation from the artist's POV unfortunately :(

But regardless, ignore anyone who makes mean comments about your prices - it's your choice. And to tell you that your time and effort isn't worth what you're asking (in basically any situation, not just art!) is just plain rude. You're worth it <3
