Community Update:
As we mentioned before, aside from event news and the 2nd Friday of the month being focused on coding/art updates all at once, all other Fridays are centered around the community!

For all players that have hidden the sidebar chat box due to issues following the recent chat update, we would like to ask you to please unhide it now, as adjustments have been made in the prior week to try and fix any issues.

We're currently working on a solution to have a sidebar chat box that's more similar to how it was pre-update with a manual refresh, but with the new features in place (blocking covering chat, mentioning other players, etc.). We hope that this will be finished by next week.

With everyone's input in this thread, we're working on more solutions to the sidebar chat box. Once they're sorted out, we'll happily do our best to add CSS compatibility!

Clarification on Spam in Chat
We would like to take a moment to clear up a bit of confusion that has occurred due to the functionality of the new chat room and sidebar chat box. Within our Code of Conduct, we have a rule regarding spam.

"Do not spam the boards or chat. Examples of spamming are as follows:
[...]
An identical chat post appearing from you more than once in a scroll to the bottom of the sidebar Chat Box (with the exception of sales posts in the Sales Chat - which are down to moderator discretion)"

Previously, the sidebar chat box would display up to 25 messages at one time. With the chat overhaul, it now displays up to 100 messages at a time. That being said, the rule quoted above is still in place. Please avoid reposting your advertisement if it is still visible when you scroll to the bottom of the chat box.
