Hi so um I searched for this and didn't find it so yeah! Sorry if it has been suggested before. When you chase a lioness, others can find her in explore and claim her. When you chase a cub or adol, they go to the tree and have a good chance of being taken. But what happens to chased sub males? As far as I know, nothing. They are deleted. What a waste of perfectly good males that could be somebodys dream king! So, heres what I suggest: A new addition to the crossroads as a cave/waterhole. When you walk in: "You walk inside a cave to get away from those cubs and wives! Wooh! Sometimes you wish you could just have a friend. Hey.... who are these guys?" It would have a count of all the sub males currently there, like the giving tree does. You could " converse" with one and make friends with it and convince it to come back with you. "Success! Your new friend (link) decides to come live with you!" If nobody likes this, maybe you could just claim sub males in explore? I just feel like there should be some way to get them. Edited: Ayy so guys if you dont support, please leave a comment! The only way suggestions grow and refine is with your input. Ok so Amberblaze said you couldnt just "tempt" a full grown male, and I agree. Maybe you could have a higher chance of matching to one with the same personality, then, as you are supposed to be friends? |

That is a good idea. I dont think it should show the markings or mane types at all, it should use a default NPC from explore. If you lose, you try again the next day, or after a cooldown?  0 players like this post! Like? |

I like the idea, but my one concern if their heritage. would they keep their heritage, like tree cubs do, or would they lose it like chased girls do? I personally support the idea, especially if they keep their heritage. If they lose their heritage it might make things a bit to easy to get those 1G studs. Somethings should stay a challenge in my mind. But I do like the idea of claiming the submales that people didn't want. Especially if they have the NCL claiming system! Where you can claim only 1 a day but if you fail then you have to wait an hour. "[flavor text to match personality]... Boo! Oh for sure they would keep their heritage, the reason chased girls lose it is because there are so many game rolled ones. [no rush artist is you are reading this] But I also feel like it should be an explore thing because if it was a new area, like Bro cave, then that means another crossroads map. And i think a new map for just one place is a bit redundant. 'You stumble upon a lone male.' 'Claim him?' "fight him?' Maybe even a 'Approach him?' The idea of claiming male lions in explore seems like a good idea to me. Perhaps something like: "You come across a strange male in your territory! He must be dealt with.. or perhaps, befriended?" Then the option to "Approach" or "Fight" like you would a lioness. Fight gives you the option to either keep him or kill him for Karma in explore (like how you can auto kill the white lion) But only if you win the fight, and without letting the player know what he looks like. Approach should let you get a closer look at him (base, markings etc) as a sort of reward for not choosing to harass him right off the bat. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like this! Perhaps if none of the other suggested ideas work, why not having a pick of the surrendered males when its time to retire your king and you don't wanna roll for a new one? Would stats stay or would they be defaulted to the 100's range? 0 players like this post! Like? |
