RNG can be a fun experience. It creates constant variety in sandbox games, fun encounters and sometimes, excitement similar to winning the lottery. We - the devs and admins - play games too. Browser games, MMOs, mobile games, simulations, builders, Blizzard’s legendary worlds, Bethesda’s creations — we love gaming too. RNG adds a touch of excitement and surprise to general gameplay and is found in many games. However, it can lead sometimes to frustration. We understand that and we don’t want to see you guys frustrated. We want to balance things out, in a few ways. We can confirm that the rates of acquiring the Mukombero item did in fact increase after Tier 3 was opened, and the item was always intended to be very rare, as stated in the news - it was coded to be wayyy more common than Solaris base encounter, and we think the numbers proved it. However, we can understand why some members are upset over the rarity of the item, when they have put extra energy and effort into finding it. We value your concerns. From now on, these drops will continue to be found at very rare chances in explore during their respective months. However, we will also introduce epic quests for each player to complete once per account during the months they are released. This means every player who is willing to put in the work, and dedicate time to a very large, demanding quest, will be guaranteed one of these items, in addition to being able to find them in explore during their event months (if very lucky!). The minimum requirements to start the quest will be high. However, once a quest is started, you have unlimited time to complete it. The first one will start in July, for Interstellar Remnants. We look forward to seeing how many of you are able to complete the quest!

What does RNG mean? I'm not a Hard Core Gamer, I just do this because it's fun so I'm not familiar with the Alphabet Soup as I'd like to be. The only thing I'm Managing to come up with is Random Number Generator Thank you for answering. As far as luck or misfortune goes, I tend to get misfortune every time, Only got to observe the Tigon stuff, never got to attempt to breed, I completely missed Leopons because I wasn't playing at the time and now I never even saw the Shaman encounter for the Ferus Item once. It's like the RNG hates me or something. That's why I'm so happy about the new questing option Admin Response: That's exactly it, the Random Number Generator (RNG) is a term used in gaming industry to describe "luck" in a script randomized and governed by coded functions. Thank you guys because i was hoping to find a muko and didn't find a single one and it was waaay to expensive to buy on the tc without a high value hybrid or high value items. And as a ftp player it is extremely difficult to get either of those unless you get lucky or buy heats and you are then out of the breeding items and no guarantee of getting a hybrid. So adding the quests are really really appreciated by me! Because it give me a chance at getting something that i can either sell later on or save for myself. 0 players like this post! Like? |

thank you for listening to our feedback concerning the rng encounters! my luck is absolutely terrible on this site, to the point where i've taken long breaks and sometimes talked myself out of coming back just because i never had anything to show for my hard work. now that i know all that time and effort will actually result in something, i'm pretty excited to start playing regularly again. 0 players like this post! Will there be a chance there's two or more quests for Interstellar Remnants, or is it limited to one quest per item? For example: - Current quest active (70% complete): Interstellar Remnants *explores and finds the quest again* - Current quest active (0% complete): Interstellar Remnants Thus i will have two Interstellar Remnants once both quests are complete. Or is it just like lioness quest where once you've started it you cannot get the same quest while the same one is in progress? Also, are the rewards guaranteed, and is it guaranteed to actually FIND this quest to activate it? Admin Response: The rewards are guaranteed, yes. The quest is limited to one per account – you cannot find two quests for the same item if you already have one in progress, and once you complete it, you can never find it on that account again. 0 players like this post! It is true that frustrates and disappoints a little not having certain items even if the player tries hard to get them and get them randomly instead of rewarding the hard work of the user, such is the case of the blessed Mukombero (who never appeared for my haha  ) which makes this new news something that gives us a light of hope to those who never encounter the luck of finding these rare objects of the game, thanks 0 players like this post! I really, really appreciate you guys doing this for the RNG frustrated members. Some of us just can't seem to catch a break and it feels like we pissed off the RNG gods and this stuff never happens for us. Having an alternative we can put hard work into and get a reward out of it means a lot to me. I appreciate hard work for real rewards over "getting lucky". Thank you so much for this. Not going to lie, I got excited for the new Primal and played almost daily with more energy roots than I thought I’d need... having nothing to show for it was rather disheartening after seeing every other encounter in the game numerous times, but this update makes things seem hopeful. 0 players like this post!
