Ashblaze is my most fleshed out character. She is known as a Turnclaw's Kin, the daughter of a traitor, and is in essence the lowest ranked cat in her clan. She is below everyone, abused, tormented, and beaten for things that are not her fault. She is blamed by all for any mistake, and is expected to preform better than everyone around her. As a coping mechanism, she has become deadly efficient at killing and fighting, and she is PineClan's most deadly asset in the war against their seldom seen enemy, the Rogue Clan. Torn between her two worlds, beaten into the dust emotionally and physically, Ashblaze remains an oddly impressionable young cat, and when a young kitten by the name of Cinderkit imprints on her at a young age, they become nearly inseparable, Ashblaze like a parent to the young kit, Cinderkit like the daughter Ashblaze is not allowed to have. When one night Cinderpaw is stolen away in the night by the leaders of the Rogue Clan, Ashblaze would give her life to get her back... and in the end, she gives it up to save her adoptive kit's life. It's important to note that The Wanderer has the same base design as Ashblaze, so all of those other images apply to them as well. The main difference for the Wanderer, is that their head is wreathed in flowers, covering their eyes completely. Their throat is cut open as well, and they bear ear notches. You don't necessarily have to draw a ton of blood coming FROM the wound, just a few trails down in their chest fur/legs or dripping through the air is fine. They cry blood as well, and have blood that drips from their nose and the corners of their mouth. They are a lost spirit, a wandering soul being punished for a lifetime of killing and destruction, saved only by the good intentions that eventually led to their death. They are sad, lonely, and desperate to deliver some message to those which remain in the clans. They are a semi-corporeal spirit, they flicker in and out of the material plane, and they are woefully difficult to understand because of the torn throat. Their voice is more whistles and pops than actual words, oftentimes coming out with a harsh 'hiss' from the wound, and as a whole it's very hard to understand. They are also a guide, returned to lead the cats they once lived alongside to the right paths. They exist even before Ashblaze herself dies, but only begin to show themselves once Ashblaze dies and their spirits connect. They're basically a caricature of Ashblaze's own punished spirit, not really her but similar.

Brokensnow was born with the name Dappledkit. She was trained with a Guard named Stormfront who took an interest in her abilities after her sexist father refused to train her despite her being the more capable of herself and her brother, Windkit. The overachiever she was, she managed to save Stormfront's life as a very young apprentice, in the process killing a rogue, but she lost her ear and a portion of her tail to the encounter. Her brother, Windpaw, was killed in a similar attack in the same area, while she was unconscious from blood loss after the attack. It was at this point that her name was changed to Brokenpaw, to honor her lost ear, broken tail, and broken patches on her coat. She took the name in stride, however, and continued to train hard under Stormfront. She became a warrior at only 13 moons, incredibly young for PineClan, and by this point had befriended the younger apprentice Fennelpaw. When Fennelpaw became Fennelsong and became mates with the brand new Chieftain, she was chosen as a Guard. When a warrior called Lightwing was discovered to be a Turnclaw, Brokensnow received her most notable scar, the one that seems to split her in half, running from face to belly. After the chaos with Ashblaze's treachery, she took over Cinderpaw's training and took to caring a lot for the young cat, believing her to be a loyal warrior. In the end, it was her trust and love for the cat who turned out to be a Turnclaw that ended her life. When she discovered Cinderpaw, now Cinderdust, fraternizing with a Rogue, she barged out to warn Cinderdust of the danger. Cinderdust, in a panic, attacked Brokensnow, and when the white patched, scarred molly could not bring herself to kill the cat she had trained, Cinderdust killed her instead. Cinderdust's life began and almost immediately intertwined with the warrior Ashblaze. The daughter of a Turnclaw, Cinderdust's interest in her began as an innocent fascination with the mysterious, almost always battered looking underweight warrior who never spoke to them but sometimes looked sadly in their direction. She persistently continued to try to interact with Ashblaze despite the warrior's best efforts to get her to go away- scaring her, answering her questions, asking questions back, ignoring her... Eventually they began to grow closer. When Cinderkit spoke to her mother, Greyfeather, about this, she was reprimanded and forbidden to go near Ashblaze. Of course, she ignored this, and Ashblaze did her best to warn her off again but was also ignored. Ratclaw, Cinderkit's father and unbeknownst to them all, Ashblaze's uncle, noticed the way they connected and gave permission for Ashblaze to mentor Cinderpaw. He warned her not to let anything happen to the kit, and Ashblaze vowed that it was always and would always be her life before Cinderpaw's. When Cinderpaw was 7 moons old, nearly 8 moons, she was kidnapped from the apprentice's den by rogues. Ashblaze was the only one to go after her, against explicit orders. She sprung her free, and ordered her back to camp. Cinderpaw returned to beg the leaders to send someone after her, and was still in hysterics when Ashblaze returned. Ashblaze ignored her completely, like she wasn't there, and began some speech Cinderpaw didn't understand about tyranny and StarClan, and the Rogue Clan being correct. Horrified, Cinderpaw watched as Timberstar declared the cat she loved like her mother a Turnclaw, and the clan cinched around them in a circle of death in preparation for the fight to kill Ashblaze. She was restrained by Greyfeather and Brokensnow when she tried to go to Ashblaze. Ashblaze seemed to be winning the fight, and then Timberstar tried to kill Cinderpaw, and Ashblaze foolishly took the blow for her apprentice, managing to kill Timberstar in the process. Cinderpaw held her as she bled out from a torn out throat. Cinderpaw would go on to train under Brokensnow to try to train out any Turnclaw tendencies Ashblaze had instilled in her, and all the while she got into contact with the leader of the Rogue Clan, Juno, and began to learn about what her mentor had died for. She eventually took a rogue cat named Rick as her mate. They were discovered and to save them both Cinderdust killed her mentor, Brokensnow. She broke it off with Rick and took the cat who had been mooning after her since apprenticehood as her new mate. It was a good decision, as she quickly found out she was pregnant. Four half-rogue kits later, Cinderdust was managing to keep their identities hidden apart from to Juno and through her, Rick. When the kits were four moons old, one, Sootkit, drowned in the river, bringing Cinderdust to the edge of insanity. She accidentally revealed to Echostep, her 'mate', that they were a rogue's kits, and realizing what she had done she raced the kits to the Rogue camps and left them with their grandmother and father, Juno and Rick, before returning to face down her mistakes. By the time Juno arrived with the entirety of the Rogue Clan at her back, Cinderdust had her throat torn out. Ashblaze's spirit came down from the heavens to lend her the strength she needed to get back up and kill Fennelstar before lapsing into unconsciousness from bloodloss. Juno ended up giving her life to save Cinderdust from the Guards who tried to finish Fennelstar's job and avenge her, but despite the fact that she was physically sound apart from a marred voice from the scarring, she had been driven to practical insanity because of the events. She often seems to be talking to cats who aren't there, cats everyone knows is dead. Her son, Sootkit. Her mentor, Ashblaze. Her step-mother, Juno. All dead, all gone, and yet Cinderdust speaks to them daily, her ramblings nothing short of crazy. Her three remaining kits were safe with their father now to raise them, Hazelkit, Ashkit, and Springkit would grow up mostly without their mother. Read more about her in her Toyhou.se.

He is Cinderdust's false mate, and the one who eventually ratted her out to the PineClan Chieftess, Fennelstar. He truly did love her, and knowing she had never loved him and that the babies he had loved and raised as his own did not share his blood simply shattered his heart. He died in the battle against the Rogue Clan, brought down by Eros, the brother of Rick and uncle to the kits Echostep called his own. He was just a lovelorn fool who was too blinded by his adoration of Cinderdust to realize she did not care for him in the slightest.

Lower Priority Character. I'd love to get some art of him at some point, but if you're more open to drawing one of the other characters, they are my preference above him! Eros is the son of Juno and a Seasoned Warrior of the Rogue Clan. One of the three most identifiable rogues in the entirety of their organization, Eros is a force to be reckoned with both on the battle field and off. Intelligent, harsh, and as to the point as he can be, the lanky young abyssinian tom is constantly proving his worth through intense military strategy and feats of force with his clanmates. He is also a stealth operative and leads and participates in many undercover observation and mapping missions. He is fiercely loyal, and very obedient, but also able to think for himself. He oftentimes comes off as unemotional and disconnected, but he does want what is best for his clan and his family. He eventually takes the name Russetshine when the Rogue Clan is victorious in restoring PineClan to its former glory, and becomes the deputy under Galestar's reign. He is the uncle of Rick and Cinderdust's kits, Hazelkit, Ashkit, Sootkit, and Springkit.
