I have 895 tokens in my side account. 872 in this account. Even if I never do another challenge ever again, I'm not going to use them all. Other people have even more tokens than I do. Give us something more to do with them, please. Heck, even letting us exchange them for Toy Bundles would be fantastic!

For the vendor idea:

Maybe you could buy loser trophies with arena tokens? (maybe you give it to an NPC that keeps losing so they can try again?), but it would solve the issue of way too many arena tokens as well as way too low drop rates.
Pricing would have to be adequate to prevent a flood of trophies, so maybe 100 arena tokens per item?

I agree with either exchanging them for Manticora Beetles or having a shop specifically to spend them in! I have 700 Arena Tokens at the moment of writing this and it bugs me to no end that they're all damn near useless! Obviously they have a use which is to enter the arena but using just 3 at a time to do so and earning more than that at a time from challenges and whatnot makes it so you earn more than you'll ever use making them near useless which is sad so I like the ideas suggested here. My only input if they were to be able to be exchanged for Manticora Beetles is, to prevent people from getting too many, would be to be able to exchange 100 Arena Tokens for 25 Manticora Beetles or something like that since people get so many. A large difference would be good just so people aren't able to get too many and end up making the Manticora Beetles useless too and in turn the items they are used to buy. Just a thought. I like the thought of a shop of lot too so I'm split 50/50 on the ideas and I wouldn't mind if either was implemented.^^

I think you could have an NPC offering loser trophies and MB, maybe?

"Hrrrngh, I keep losing tournaments and challenges. Maybe if you give me some Arena Tokens to try again, I'll give you some of my stuff. It's all junk consolation prizes anyway."

Since you get loser trophies and a few MB from losing, it would make sense lorewise.

My worry is that a separate shop puts stress on staff to roll out new items/decor or it would be redundant, whereas MB is much simpler.

Support. I have basically 2000 tokens combined on both my side and main, and they're obnoxious. It'd also be nice if the boys gave us beetles instead of tokens, considering the tokens are ALREADY too easy to acquire from the 15 minute challenges. Or like, maybe have the Defeat X Lions quest provide beetles, in the very least???

A simple "Exchange 1 Arena Token to *low fixed amount of SB*" option would be nice, too. It doesn't even have to be more than 10SB because at this point I'd take anything if it gives my tokens a purpose.

I support, both the shop idea and the exchanges sound like good ideas.
… I gained most of my tokens from accepting challenges rather than sending them out and uh, I've been off a few times yet I'm still nearly at 200 tokens, and it feels a little demoralising to find out that there's not yet a way to get rid of them (this is my first time experiencing the May event).
But uh, this is the most extreme way of showing how quickly tokens can stack up:
15 minutes you can send out a challenge (assuming people get back in time then you can get tokens).
Assuming it was accepted and you won every single challenge you sent out per hour, you'd get a maximum of 16 tokens.
If you didn't sleep (or only have frequent short naps of about 15 minutes) then in 24 hours you can get up to 384 tokens per day (this isn't including the person accepting other player's challenges).
May has 31 days: 384 x 31 = 11,904
so, potentially, on only challenging others alone you could get up to 11,904 tokens in a month.
Then, take into account that every hour you can spend 3 to battle then:
3 x 24= 72
72 x 31= 2,232
11, 904 - 2,232 = 9,672

In comparison, with manti beetles you can get a maximum of about 15 per hour (assuming you win every single battle) 15 x 24 =360
360 x 31= 11,160

The difference is that you can actually get rid of the manti beetles in a shop which has things of value.

if you look at the lower limit for tokens (without changing the other things such as how many battles per day occur or how many days you were on) then:
4 x 24 = 96
96 x 31= 2,976
then take off the number from tokens needed for the arena:
2,976 - 2,232= 744
so you still end the event having gained tokens that you can't use for anything, they have no value so yeah, a shop or exchange would be a good idea... maybe have 50 tokens for one manti beetle? … well, technically, if you go by V'kai's conversion:
1 rep= 5 tokens
5 rep= 1 manti beetle

So, 25 tokens should be equal to one manti beetle but... considering what they can buy, I think that conversion should be higher to make it more difficult to get the manti beetles... considering that if neither people fought in the area and only converted the tokens to manti beetles the conversion of 25 would be:
11, 904 (round it down to the nearest hundred) -> 11,900
11,900 divided by 25 equals 476... which you may notice is high enough to buy a lion scrote
2,976 (round to the nearest 75) -> 2,975
2,975 divided by 25 equals 119

So then if you go with max number of manti beetles from arena fights and take into account the max number of tokens won from challenges then:
11,160 + (9,672 (rounded down to nearest 50) -> 9,650 then divided by 25 equals 386) 386 = 11,546 manti beetles.

so yeah, having the conversion even at V'kai's rate is still fairly low if you took it to that extreme... but
at the lower end of if you only got one token every time (I know it's luck based on if you get a token at all but, this is more the upper and lower bounds on the extremes)
then 744 (rounded down to nearest 25) ->725
725 divided by 25 =29
11,160+ 29= 11,189
which doesn't seem like quite so bad of a trade off until you realise that quite a few items are about 10-20MB to buy... so I feel like a better conversion would be about 100 Tokens to one beetle to stop it from being too easy to flood the market with certain items.
A shop would also work, but again, the prices would have to be fairly high to keep it balanced due to certain craftable items and apps which could devalue the bases if the prices of the items needed could be bought cheaply.

More in the field of making them about 25 = 1. While I understand the idea of lower cost items flooding the market, these items typically have little worth and usually are easy to get your hands on. But it would definitely make it so people don't have to choose quite as badly between the big ticket applicator and lion balls and *checks notecard* titles that for some reason cost 300 goddamn MB. And allow you to pick up the Backgrounds. This month has some of the nicest ones. They can get their nards or applicators or whatever else and then use the tokens at end of month to get a background or some decors, you know?

I support this hardcore, and this is my first may event.

like god I've been trying to work my butt off for MB, so I get get 1 or 2 lion scrotums AND décor before holy crap THIS EVENTS DECOR IS AMAZING! But! It's just too expensive. I want the backgrounds, items, almost everything in the shop, and I can't even get 1 friggin scrotum!
meanwhile, febuary I got nothing bc I was dumb, but I saw people get so many buffie scrotums, lion scrotums, everything for god sakes, and I can barely get anything this event.

imo, I think it should be somewhat low arena tokens to mb, like, 10-20 per 1, if even that, as it feels too hard to get everything in these events! april, ferbuary, I have NO problem getting tons of decors and items if I worked SUPER hard, and this event? I got like, a few expressions, 2 v'kai decors, and 1 or 2 big tortoise things. It feels too hard to get this months currency compared to others, ya know? like, either have a low conversion rate, or lower shop items, imo. it feels too hard to get the items this month compared to others, especially if you don't play every second of every day. I've seen people get 150mb per day, but being on constantly, and constantly grinding, good for them, more items, but those who can't be on 24/7? I have had like, 300 total mb this month... either need more ways for MB or cheaper items, imo.

might just be me though, lmao.

EDIT:
Forgot to add, the comparing my currency from this month to other months I still play the same amount of time basically, on and off. This month, I got VERY little currency, while april and febuary, the 2 I was in the most so far, I EASILY got currency compared to this event.
