this honestly is bananas. i read through this whole thread & no one has even mentioned the fact that this month has TWO gold base applicators. the only other month with this many gold base apps is may, & trophy was near impossible to get. there is a total of EIGHT event gold base apps, including the green base. are you a gold base breeder/appreciator? too bad!

and let’s be realistic. logging in for a handful of days to get 2 applicators for free is incredibly easy. why do you think the hyena stripes markings are so tired & disliked by most? yes, they are obviously more passable than a base color but since everyone got them for free they are so widespread they aren’t worth much. (and also iirc january has a longer storyline as well.)

anyone who:
-sides with anubis (he’s the worst battle buddy)
-lives with more than 1 other person with LD accounts (no side account to double currency OR acquire a second new base)
-breeds gold bases
-cannot be online 24/7
-doesn’t have or have funds for red bull/roasted lamb (new players)
is getting shafted.

i, too, would like them to stay expensive enough (300-420 kb) that they don’t oversaturate the market & devalue the bases but.. they should also be attainable!! arguably, yes, they are more attainable than last year—but with more decor & items being added to the shop, i would like to see people be able to get an applicator And decor/items. this issue won’t go away—assuming the new bases of this year are available to purchase next june, this problem will be worse than ever, if no changes are made.

Wasn't going to bring it up because I thought bases availability was better left for somwhere else ... Buuuut I'm really disappointed that there was no new gold base from the storyline. I figured this month was finally finally finally FINALLY gold bases month since there were two last year.

Nah.

Gotta spend 1k KB and switch sides around just to get bases that were FREE last year. The only applicable gold countershaded bases are from this event and damn hard to get now.

Can we have something included about the Canopic Jellyfish?

I'm fine with the price of 150 KB. I'm not fine with the fact that a bunch of people were able to buy it for 50 KB, and then the price was raised due to a chat suggestion. Just seems a little unfair and I'd like that to be righted in some way. Maybe have the jellies be 50 KB for a single day? or even 100 KB? I'm just very frustrated with how this event it turning out. Probably my least favorite out of the ones I've played.

Maybe the jellyfish should be a separate suggestion and one of you could do it.
I definitely agree the jellyfish should go back to 100 at least, if not 50.

But the bases are honestly my priority.
I don't wanna add the jellyfish to this suggestion because it might change people's mind about supporting the entire thing.

I almost never win the snake battles when I DO find them, which has been taking me a couple of full energy bars just to find 1 or 2 (I sided with Seth on main and Bast on side, I lose even more on my side). It's day 16, and I have BARELY 100 KB. I haven't bought anything yet, I can't complete every daily quest, I wasn't even here last year, so I have no extra left over KB. I was really excited to get the Seth base to help me get Sapelas and Sheduas (both are Red Solid), but now I have zero chance. I haven't been able to get online much either due to studies.

I support this 110%. I’m honestly more than a little bit pissed off with how this event is going. For one, the gap between chapters is IMMENSE for a event that was supposed to be story based.

And then the base prices. GOD THE BASE PRICES.

I have been more active this month than any month since the beginning of my Lioden career. Last year, due to mental health issues, I didn’t even log in for quite a few months, let alone know about these based being in existence for the first year of the event. I’ve used 4-5, maybe even more, full bars of energy, on both my main AND my side account, per day, except maybe one or two days, and don’t even have 500KB combined! Which is absolutely ridiculous! It’s day 17, and I’m not even at 250KB on each account. The drop rate, and the price of the god based is insane.

I do understand they’re supposed to be rare, but as a player who has dedicated literal DAYS of my time to this event and probably will not have enough to buy even one god base by the end of this event, I’m more than pissed. And honestly, quite discouraged from even trying to get enough KB.

Now. I’ve been playing daily, getting as many daily quests done as I can, for HOURS, and barely have half of the amount required to buy a god base.
Please imagine now what the smaller accounts (newbies, people who can’t get on as often, etc) will feel during this event. It’s discouraging, and honestly a big turn-off for newbies and oldies alike, wondering if every event will be like this? Will all the event eventually turn into this? Why would I want to play if I literally cannot get anything cool from fun events?

Simply, people are getting discouraged from even playing any of this event, from what I’ve seen and heard, and the fact that the Admins aren’t doing anything st all to fix it, is quite concerning. For a new event, they should be looking at the criticism people have and responding to it and adjusting accordingly. Unhappy players=loss of players=loss of profit. Keep that in mind Admins.

Just... for gods sake, listen to the people who are supporting you and making this game possible.

For some perspective, I have just under 2,000 Kb, and that is because I am a housewife that is currently unemployed. I get up at 5AM and use roasted lambs almost every day of this event. I keep going until 11PM, sometimes later. I get, on my side and main, roughly 80 or 100, if not more or sometimes less a day. I've also purchased and used a few energy roots, with GB I purchased.

I grind this game all day and night. When you consider that I only have 1,700 and I play for roughly 10-18 hours a day, when most players can only contribute 1-5 hours give or take, it seems... off.

I'm at 375KB but i havent bought anything other than 2 sets of wings which come up to 72 KB i think. I didn't want to spend that much but i kind of bit the bullet and did it and i kind of regret it now because its exam season and i don't have time to be constantly grinding for KB

i haven’t been super active but i have been rolling this account every day. i have 738 kb. my main ive been rolling every other day.. it has 387 kb. pretty ridiculous. no seth base for me

and yeah. when you can’t get much you want from an event shop due to the low rate of currency.. the event quickly stops being fun. december was a punishment honestly & this has only been a little better. at least the shop for this month isn’t as big as december’s :/ (which, by the way, has had a suggestion to fix the currency rate for a few years now. so sorry folks, give up on june..)

I'm holding off buying things hoping the bases get lowered etc, I love the decor theme for this month, but if I can only afford either the base OR decor then I'm going to buy the base.

I understand bases are difficult to obtain but when you 'have' to choose whether to get just the base or some really nice decor it's a shame

Also, the 10kb for the daily challenege seems far far too low, I find 1 maybe 2 hyenas after using an entire bar of energy, providing I win every single fight, this could still use up 10 full energy bars, I'm hardly going to be able to do that and then theres no energy left for breeding/studding.
The snakes, sometimes I have 5 arrows in favour of me and they still deal up to 10 damage more than I do? My lion has over 3000 stats, I feel sorry for the newbs, I only just scrape by :/

I really love the theme for this month, but it needs some balancing imo, I just keep seeing more and more reason for it to be rebalanced. Whether that be through extra encounters to bump up kb, increasing the reward, lowering the prices or adding side missions. Anything to make things a but more achieveable without being grindy would make me enjoy this event more, as it is a really cool theme and pretty!

Most of the time changes aren't made the same year unfortunately. Sorta can't believe it happened with the jar but I digress...

Another thing I realized today after the 3rd time getting a non-snake killing quest... If I use my energy to kill 10 dogs that's 70 (for me) or 100 energy not used killing snakes. I could have used it to kill 10 snakes and gotten 20 beetles. ...the quest awards 10.

Utter waste. Farm snakes.

It's awful that actually doing the quests will set you back.
