This post is a WIP to create a guide to the Journey to the Vredefort Crater Adventure in which Intersteller Remnants is the Reward. This is a group effort and everyone is encouraged to share. This post will be updated and I hope other members can help as we all journey forward. I'll also change fonts and make the layout prettier.

Keep in mind this is a straightforward guide, and will not be addressing the Storyline, rather the focus is on competition requirements.

Thank you for this guide! It's so helpful. ^^

Also, I'm not sure if this applies to other but for me, not all of the herbs can be used for the 500 herb quest. African Cucumber, Aloe Leaf, Stripped Cacti, and Water Root never worked for me. Also, also for the cub quest, I was unable to use the cubs I got from the giving tree. Again, I'm not sure if this applies to everyone but I just wanted to put it out there in case it does apply so that others may know. :)

Tree cubs should work... Only restrictions should be secure, under broodmother. Can you see if the tree cubs don't work Magic? I'll have to add that to restrictions then!

Tree cubs will work. I didn’t test if they’d work if they were on a cooldown, but most of the cubs I used were tree cubs.

Also, I’m fairly certain that water root, African cucumber, aloe leaf and striped cacti aren’t herbs, but I could be wrong.

Tree cubs aren't working for me, and they're not protected or anything. I can select them to sacrifice but when I click the button it tells me that the cub is not valid

@FirecrackerTNT

I'm sorry to hear that. ;-; I assumed that if a beetle could eat it, it was an herb but that wasn't the case. You can get a lot of herbs in a relatively short amount of time from fighting beetles. But they can often give you the ones that don't work as well.

@Lime {4.7k Demi}

Ah, I wish I could have seen that earlier. I blew so much money on this. ;-; But hopefully it will help someone else. ^^

@Dalton

No problem! Thank you for creating this guide!

As for the tree cubs: I wasn't sure if it worked for other people or not. For me I got one cub yesterday and one today and neither work so it's not a cooldown issue. I also bought one off a trade and it worked but another one didn't? I'm not sure if it's a glitch or if there's something I'm not seeing. I checked for the trade, broodmother, etc. things. But if it works for other people awesome! I just wanted to point out a potential hazard.

@Khaveyrim (Jessye)

Oh! I didn't know that. I assumed that if a beetle could eat it, it was an herb. I didn't know there was a distinction. Thank you. ^^

@Magic

That's exactly what's happening to me! I'm not sure what it is because some are from a trade while others are from the tree. I'm going to keep investigating. I'll tell you if I can figure out what it is.

I noticed something. I got rid of a lot of cubs but my account still reads 33 out of 100. I think I only have 12 so that isn't right. Maybe it is a glitch?

Oh the cubs count are constantly wacky like that, if you fodder a lot for karma you'll get negative counts and such!

That’s odd. Now that I think about it, I did have a few cubs that didn’t allow me to use them for the quest, but I don’t know for sure if they were free cubs or not.

I guess it’s safe to say that tree cubs don’t work

And I’m not 100% sure about the herbs. I just assumed the aloe, cucumber, cacti, and water root weren’t herbs because we use them primarily for the drought season. I forgot they could be fed to Beetles as well.

Yeah, it's like they're defective? because it isn't even all of them? I'm starting to think it really is a glitch. if so, I hope it gets fixed soon.

No, you're probably right since they're used for that event. I'm still pretty new so I see dream root and water root and think they have the same function. XD
